Gadget is a 6 1/2 year old male Lynx Point Siamese Cat. I got him as a kitten, and he has been through 2 house moves, but my wife and I are expecting in June and can no longer keep him. He has claws, is neutered, and is up to date with all vaccines recommended for indoor cats. He is a big cat: about 16 lbs. He is litter box trained. He has never urinated outside of his litter box to my knowledge, but does defecate outside his box every now and then. He sleeps for much of the day, but will be playful if he likes the toy given to him. Gadget is a very loving cat to people that he trusts, but he gets defensive if he feels unsafe, especially around children or other animals. He may be a challenging rehome project, and it may take a while for him to warm up to you. I strongly recommend that he does not go to a home with young children or other animals. I don't want to get rid of him, but with our own baby on the way, he needs to find a new home that he will feel safe in.

Varys is a wonderful and cuddly cat who will always ask to sit on your lap whenever you are around. He loves to have his head and his chin scratched. We recently had a newborn baby, and she just had an allergy test that came back as allergic to cats. We have had Varys since he was a baby. We hate to see him go, but unfortunately, we need to. We listed him as "not good with kids," because he only likes to be pet on his head and his chin. Because kids tend to just grab cats anywhere, he tends to nip when he is grabbed near the back end. If the kids were taught how to pet him, he would like them.

Follow us on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/solascb We have cats available for adoption 24/7 at the PetsMart in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Exit 47 by Target. All SOLAS cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate shots , wormed, feluk/fiv tested and micro chipped prior to adoption. We are a network of foster homes, we do not have a shelter, so the fur babies are also litter box trained and treated to make sure there are no fleas. (We don't want that in our homes either!) Generally every Saturday, we have a SOLAS representative in the store from 11 - 3 to assist with adoptions. Cash only as the PetsMart can not run SOLAS adoption fees through the register. Exoctic looking Sweetheart!Chloe is an energetic, loving, sweet girl. Rescued from a farm situation with her two siblings at 5 months old, she has spent the last months being socialized and given all the TLC she deserves. She is now ready for her forever home. Chloe loves to be pet and loves snacks! She may seem a bit shy at first, but quickly warms up. She has been in a home with dogs and kids and other cats. While it would be wonderful if she could be homed with one or both siblings, (Bean and Coco) they are not particularly bonded so her foster feels she will adjust to a happy home.
