Story
This is Majula. She is about two years old, exact age unknown. She is a little sweetheart who loves to play. She is also good about letting you know her boundaries. Unfortunately, having to live with two other cats has made her a little more aggressive. We tried our best to acclimate her to the other cats, which hissing and growling is natural but would seek out the other cats and ended up scratching one. I wouldn't say for certain she isn't good with other pets, this has just been our experience but if possibly handled better than she might be okay. She might do best in a household without any pets and why we have decided that this site might be our best option because we would hate to give her to a shelter but staying where she is at now isn't the best situation. We love her very much and are very sad to have to resort to this but it would be best for her sake. We just want her to go to a loving home.

Story
My wife and I adopted Fry when he was 10 weeks old from a family farm. Fry is a loving 4 year old orange cat that will purr the moment you start to pet him and consistantly brush up against your leg for attention. We got him before our work schedules made frequent trips away from home common and Fry has not been adjusting well to the lack of attention. He should be with someone that can give him the time and attention that he needs. If you are looking for a sweet cat that loves attention and sleeping next to you, we believe he would make a great addition to your home.

Story
Bunny had been living amongst several hotels and convenience stores over the last year south of Cedar Rapids. Everyone was feeding her but no one fixed her. After calls from concerned hotel guests, a volunteer went out and caught her. Upon examination by our veterinary, we found out she was nursing kittens. After searching but not finding her kittens, we released her. Thankfully, she led us immediately to them tucked away in a dumpster. We retrieved the kittens an recaptured Bunny bringing them all back to our Adoption Center. She is still unsure of people but likes to hang out with us.Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program.
