Story
We first got Chewie when a friend of ours found her on their property when the cat was about 2 1/2 yrs old. We weren’t planning to have a cat at the time but wanted to be of help and since then, 7 years we’ve had her have flown by. She has had a good life and is a big cuddler and is very social. She is a typical lazy cat who sleeps most of the time but when she is awake has a very loud and talkative personality. With some big life changes ahead for my wife and I, we decided that it would be best for Chewie to find a new home where she can be loved and cared for in the way she needs.

Story
Cosmo is a wonderful cat that I acquired in 2022! He was estimated to be about 2 years old when I got him, and it has been 2 years since so I would guess he is about 4 or so. Cosmo is very friendly - he loves other cats, dogs, food, and especially humans. He would love to be in a home where his humans love to snuggle him because that's all he wants in life. He is an expert user of the litter box and loves to sun bathe in windows any chance he gets!

Story
Wanda is a beautiful, spunky young girl that loves to be in her own world. She is great with dogs, other cats, people, and loves meal time! I acquired Wanda is 2022 when she was just a kitten, so I believe she is about 2 years old now. She is very easy going, and will let you know when she wants to be snuggled with, which is pretty frequent!

Story
We got Kite from a friend whose cat had kittens. He was born on May 4, 2023. We need to rehome him because he doesn't get along very well with our toddler. He chews on ours sons toys and has scratched him a couple times before. He especially loves foam material to chew on. He is pretty skittish at times but very loving. He hides if we had a lot of people over. It will likely take him some time to warm up. He needs a home that can give him the full attention he needs. He gets along with our other cat and dog well. The cats will play together. Kite and the dog ignore each other. He is a very sweet cat and deserves a good home.

Story
Tracks is incredibly sweet and very passive. We introduced a dog to the home and he reacted well, we thought he was OK but he began peeing near the dog food bowl. He hasn't had any other behaviors. He is easily bullied by other pets because of how docile he is. Has done well with our older cat. He is a potato and loves to nap. He isn't the brightest cat but he is very food motivated and will develop more brain cells for greenies and any other cat treat. Chicken is his favorite. He loves string and soft pompom balls. He likes to carry the balls around until he needs a nap and then curl up with one in his paws. We are hoping for a loving family that will let him potato and snuggle. He is good with kids and adults.

Story
Barnacle is a spirited ball of energy who's always ready for playtime! This playful kitty loves to chase after toys and engage in lively games, so he'd thrive in a home with one or two feline friends to keep him entertained. His zest for life is contagious Barnacle will do just about anything for a tasty treat! And, he is a smart boy, so he has been learning new tricks in exchange for the reward of a yummy treat. So far, Barnacle has mastered sit and high five. We know that it won't take him long at all to learn even more. While he's not much of a lap cat, Barnacle enjoys being around his humans and will happily accept pets and the occasional cuddle session when he's feeling affectionate. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who's ready to brighten your days with laughter and play, Barnacle is your guy! If you are interested in learning more about Barnacle, please call 812-988-7362 or submit an adoption application at the link below. https://www.bchumane.org/adoption-application/ *All cats will be neutered, vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines, FELV tested, current on parasite prevention and microchipped.
