Story
Oliver is about 18 months old. He is all black in color. He was a stray that we took in back in November 2023. He definitely has lots of energy and is very curious. He is very sweet and loving. He will cuddle you and give you kisses. Unfortunately we have had some issues with behavior and they don’t seem to be getting better. Since I have a small child and am pregnant with my second, I am starting to worry about these issues. I don’t think Oliver will do well with a newborn in the home. I think ideally he would do much better in a home with no small children. He has made our family so happy this past year but we’ve come to the conclusion that he would be happier with another family who can devote more of their time to him and give him the attention he needs/deserves. My health is also declining and it is becoming a lot harder to keep up with his energy. We want to make sure he goes to someone who will take very good care of him and love him. That’s important to us.

Story
I got Butterfly from the Johnson County Animal Shelter almost a year ago, she literally catfished me into thinking she was a cuddly kitty! 🤣 She’s 9 years old and is very independent. It takes her awhile to warm up to people but once she’s comfortable she will sit with you and hang out with you. I’m very said to even be putting her up for adoption, but unfortunately I cannot take care of her anymore and she needs a family that can really care for her how she’s supposed to be cared for. All I ask is for pictures of her to be sent every now and then to make sure she’s okay.

Story
Meet Dottie, a young feline whose personality is a delightful mix of cuddly warmth and playful energy. Dottie was born to a feral mother and came into foster care with her two siblings. She was the only girl and like most sisters thought it was her place to boss the boys. Dottie began her stay in foster care as a shy girl, but over time she's become a very playful kitty, even rolling over for belly rubs. With love and patience, she'll quickly adjust to her new surroundings. Her curiosity helps her to explore and understand her environment. Dottie loves to engage in interactive games, and her affectionate nature makes her a perfect companion for cozy evenings. Dottie's intelligence shines as she masterfully chases laser lights, displaying her agility and speed. Her love for feather toys is unmatched, playfully batting them around with her nimble paws. Adopting Dottie means bringing home a bundle of love and joy. Her zest for life will fill your home with laughter and her affectionate nature will provide endless comfort. Dottie is waiting to share her love with a family that will cherish her.
