Story
Mama Kitty is a sweet cat. She loves to sleep on our bed. She likes to be pet as long as you don't touch her tail area. We found her outside with her daughter Honey Bear who is also up for adoption. They are very good friends. Unfortunately we have another cat who picks on Mama which is why we want to rehome her. Mama is a very timid cat who stays only in our bedroom. She deserves a home where she doesn't have to be afraid. Where she can feel safe to go anywhere in the house. Ideally we would love for her and Honey Bear to be together without any other cats in the home to terrorize her. Mama loves to treat time every night. She can be quite playful if she feels safe. We love her but want a better life for her.

Story
Meet Nya! Nya is the of her litter kitty of her litter mates. She is almost 5 yrs old. She can be very timid at first and takes her time to settle but once she does she is quite active and social when she wants to be. To extremely as she enjoys her independence and space. She is very vocal too depending on the day. She was found on the side of the road with 3 of her litter mates in a box. Barely 4 wks old. Nya is beautiful and so sweet once comfortable with her surroundings. She loves all cats, dogs, and critters of all sizes. Nya is very independent and likes it that way. A home with other pets is preferred. Nya is fully vetted spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Story
Meet Mario!!! Mario Luigi’s brother saved together. Both were rescued at barely 14 days old. Mario is not as confident as his brother Luigi and needs that extra time, space, and patience to adjust and settled in. But when he does he is so lovey dovey and can be clingy too. He also loves to eat, loves wet food as well as treats, and is never not hungry. He enjoys simplicity and is definitely a big baby. Loves affection and singles and lots of cuddles. Mario's best buddy is the GS dog named Tarzan amongst others. Mario is fully vetted neutered and up to date on all vaccines. Story
Meet Luigi!!! Luigi and his brother Mario have been at the sanctuary for 5 yrs now. Both we were 2 wks old when they arrived. A home with dogs and or cats is a must as he thinks he and his brother Mario love dogs. Both boys are so sweet once given the time to adjust and settle in. Luigi is braver than Mario for sure but takes longer to settle in. Both are excellent kitties who love all. Both boys do not need to go together. Luigi is fully vetted spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. Story
Meet Mystery! The mystery is believed to be a 2-3-year-old Russian Blue mix. What a sweet shy boy. Just lacks confidence in every way. But given the time and space, he's the best! He can be hand-shy at first with humans but comes around eventually. He is her affectionate playful nurturing cat. The mystery was a stray cat in the neighborhood that a little 4-year-old girl fed and loved since kitten. She fed all the kitties daily on her front lawn. One day Mystery showed up with a fractured leg. The neighbor's dog had gotten him. It took 2 months to trap him, but he made it. By the time we could trap him his leg healed wrong. The only option was amputation. We decided not to proceed with it unless he showed an inability to use it or appeared in pain. We have not witnessed either. So he heated his leg. Here we are 18 months later and he's doing great. His best buddy here is Ace. They tend to stick together and lean on one another. They are not bonded at all just best buddies. Mystery cannot be an only pet. He needs a buddy. Whatever species as long as it's friendly and allows Mystery to lean on them for support, comfort, and loving. Mystery is fully vetted spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily.
