Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Jolene, lovingly referred to as Jo, was owned and loved deeply by her owner, but they unfortunately could no longer care for her, so she is in need of a new, loving home! She is an adventurous, active girl with a curious mind. She is a girl who can be with other cats, but she does not interact with them. She is usually the outcast in their lounging together. She sits by herself on a shelf or bed and gazes at her surroundings. She was owned prior to coming to Catsnap and it seems to be she misses solitary time with her owner so we would think she would do well as the only cat.   She needs a laid-back, quiet home and enjoys her treats. If she was a human, describing her would be easy: assertive, confident, bold, decisive and even authoritative. She would do well running a Fortune 500 company.     Jo is not particularly sweet but the times when she gives you love mean it is from her heart and you feel such a great tribute from her. Jo is immaculate in her personal care and neat in her foster room. She is very intelligent and cannot be tricked by a toy or a treat. She can ignore situations that she feels beneath her.     She needs a person who is content with Jo being herself. She likes people talking with her and if she feels it is an intelligent conversation, she will take part too. Sometimes she sleeps her foster's brother's bed, sometimes not. She likes watching him on the computer and listens to music with him. She is an original girl.   Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!   If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.    We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet. &#226&#128&#139 Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.special needs, special soul I am Oreo and I am another cat who was sadly in need of help. I had a skin disorder that was very painful and had not been treated and that took a lot of money and time for them to heal my body when I came to them. I was thin and never felt good until the vet and the Catsnap team renewed my outlook on life. Now I love to eat, as you can tell. While I was in here I have seen many cats that needed help, a jaw de-gloved orange boy and a cat with a plastic object embedding around his leg and head and another with terrible leg injury's and and many babies with URI and failure to thrive and mother cats that were too thin and depleted to feed. Here at this building they take cats who are in terrible shape and gently and lovingly nurse them back to health. At times it seems too many and too much for this small team. But somehow they give us all medical attention, wonderful food and love. And we heal in body and in soul. Then we are ready to go home. Oreo is a talker and will tell you over and over how much she loves you while simultaneously reminding you that you should never, under any circumstances, bring another cat anywhere near her.  Oreo does...not...like...cats.  It's really a Jekyll and Hyde situation and you really don't want to see her Hyde when another cat is in her eyeline. ;)  But when it comes to humans, Oreo is all love and just wants her head and cheeks scratched all day while she whispers sweet nothings in your ear and crams herself into every nook and cranny of your houses while she gets the lay of the land. Bring this kooky Oreo cookie home today!
