Elizabeth is a very pretty and regal gal. She is a medium size kitty with beautiful majestic eyes. Elizabeth gets along fine with other cats. One thing she loves is to run on our cat wheel. She loves showing off how fast she can be. A wheel is not a must as long as there is space for her to exercise her athletic talent. Elizabeth had some challenging situations with humans before she came to us. It causes her to shy away from touch but not food! I've made huge strides this year - I actually come out to explore now when things are peaceful! Think of me as a rare flower that blooms best in tranquil gardens. *Together:* We're both young - just about a year old - which means we have so much potential to grow braver with the right person. Think of us as rough diamonds waiting for a patient jeweler to help us shine. We've already proven we can make progress - you should have seen us a year ago! Avalon is a gorgeous big boy. He is quite a presence when he walks into the room. Despite his size, he is comfortable just hanging around with other cats. It seems he had some bad experiences with humans when he wa s a little kitten and is very cautious around anyone. With us just placing a cat in an unknown situation quite a few cats get super anxious and decide to hide and observe the new place and family from relative safety. To help the cat accept you and develop a loving bond, you would need to put in some effort, loving care, and patience. We think that Avalon will adjust in 6 to 9 weeks. You would need to keep him in one small room (preferably your bedroom) and spend time just sitting, talking or even singing to him.
