Story
Introducing Champagne, Champagne, affectionately known as Champoo, is a delightful orange tabby with a personality as vibrant as his name. This charming feline is the embodiment of sweetness-he adores snuggles and pets, making him the perfect cuddle companion. Champoo has a playful side too; he loves to roll over for belly rubs and is particularly obsessed with his foster's flip flops, often seen playfully pawing at them. His playful antics and easygoing nature make him quite the entertainer, and he's so self-sufficient that sometimes you might forget he's lounging nearby! While Champagne is heartworm positive, there's no need to worry-while there's no specific treatment for heartworm infection in cats, many cats, like Champagne, can clear the infection naturally over time without experiencing any symptoms. Champagne loves to observe the world outside, soaking in all the action that passes by his window. With his distinctive "Orange Cat attitude," he definitely has a way of making himself feel at home-after all, he believes he owns the place! If you're looking for a loving companion who brings joy, playfulness, and a bit of sass into your life, Champagne is ready to charm his way into your heart. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you. Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.

Story
Meet Pasha, a sweet and affectionate 8-year-old black cat with a gentle soul. Initially, Pasha can be a bit standoffish, but he warms up quickly and becomes a loving and loyal companion. His foster parent says Pasha adores attention and loves being petted, often staying close by and even sleeping next to or on top of his favorite person. He can be vocal when seeking affection and loves to snuggle. Despite his age, Pasha still enjoys playing with string and other toys occasionally. He's welcoming to visitors and has done well with children aged 13 and 4 in his foster home. However, he's best suited to a household where children understand how to interact gently with animals, as he doesn't enjoy being picked up or rough play. It seems Pasha may not have front claws, making him extra gentle with his interactions. Pasha has no litter box issues and enjoys both dry and wet food. While his foster home doesn't include other pets, his easygoing nature suggests he might adapt well with proper introductions. Pasha is ready to find his forever home, where he can be the loving, loyal companion he's meant to be. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you. Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Any adoption inquiries should be directed to the owner at Ellie2979@yahoo.com or (630) 391-3963. Anderson Humane makes no guarantees regarding medical or behavioral status of this animal, and the current owner is solely responsible for disclosing any challenges or concerns. Luke is so friendly, and quirky. I found him at 2 years old as a stray. No telling what he got into before that but I was told he might've fallen off a cargo truck from Georgia. He wasn't fixed and had worms. He was warming up one day under my ex-boyfriend's truck and then he became mine. FF 3 years. Luke is a charming, large, and fully healthy 5 year old and 1 month male cat. When inside, his favorite thing to so is sprawl out while he and his human watch tv. He is the best co-pilot.!! He also likes to daydream by the window, listening for critters or birds. When outside, he likes sprawling out on the cool ground, walking in gardens, and picking at plants. He has gotten loose 2 or 3 times, where I found him within the same day in the neighbors gardens, and once he just walked back to the front door where his food and water were. I brush him routinely with Burts Bees waterless shampoo. He is a very sheddy orange cat. The vet says American shorthair but I don't know where the "short hair" classification comes from because I could go on brushing him and removing hair from him for days. He acts like he doesn't like to be brushed but he does. He loves being a pretty boy. As long as you keep him clean he shouldn't provoke any allergy problems. His favorite toys and cat beds are anything colorful that is truly unique, just like him. He like crunchy treats and that is usually how I care for his dental health. I have also used minty gel which he really enjoys. He likes Shiba catfood, and meow mix dry food. If you mix it together for him that's just the best. Praying Luke and I find a forever home give him the stimulation, safe environment, and needs to be met that he deserves. Currently, my household has adopted a pitbull who is untrained and uncrated. And Luke is left for long periods of time, often days, in the master bedroom, where the dog barks and pushes/knocks at the door. I'm also 5 months pregnant and just want to find the right home and situation for him before the baby comes and there is even less I can do.... Please consider adopting this cutie!! It would mean the world to me!

Story
Meet Taylor, a playful female domestic shorthair with a strong independent streak. Taylor is good with other cats and enjoys engaging with humans through interactive play, especially with wand toys. She has a soft spot for lickable treats, which are the key to her heart! While Taylor is full of energy and fun, she is still learning to feel comfortable with physical touch and being picked up. At this time, she prefers to keep all of her paws on the floor. She's seeking a patient family who understands her boundaries and can help her grow in confidence at her own pace. With the right home, Taylor will continue to blossom and show her unique personality. Could you be the one to give her the safe, loving space she needs? Stop in and meet Taylor in person during our adoption hours or email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you. Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians. Ask fosters@ahconnects.org about fostering Taylor, while she waits for her forever home!
