Rosie was adopted and then returned to us at no fault of her own, her adapter had severe allergies. Rosie is very shy and timid, and is not fond of men. She needs to be home and in a quiet and laid-back household with a single female, so she is comfortable and happy. This lovely girl is independent and does like to hang out on her own at times, but will come to you when she wants affection and attention. She will let you know when she’s had enough and is happy just to be around you. No other pets or children please.

Dinah is very active and curious. Loves head scratches, will jump on you from any closest object to get attention. She was good with dogs at her previous foster home, and does seem curious about them at the adoption center. She is NOT good with other cats other than her sister Sassy. Even the scent of another feline sends her into major anxiety and she gets extremely aggressive at anything that moves around her. For this reason, we will not adopt her to a home with other cats, other than if adopted as a pair with sister Sassy. Dinah does not sit still she is always on the go to play and explore. She enjoys the young girl in her foster home, both to play and to snuggle with and sleep. *Watch around doors to the outside* She would be fine adopted on her own as as only pet as long as she gets lots of attention, playtime, and love.

* PART OF A PAIRS ONLY ADOPTION WITH GIZMO * Gunner is as sweet as he is cute. Though he’s a big boy, he is a bit timid with people he doesn’t know at first and does prefer a quieter household. He is extremely bonded with his brother/cousin (same dad, moms were sisters) Gizmo, so closely that we will not consider separating them. They compliment each other nicely; as Gizmo is the much smaller but bolder of the two, he leads the charge and Gunner is happy to let him. They play, snuggle, and entertain each other, while also very much enjoying their human family and cuddling with their people as well. They are good with other kind and social cats, as well as cat-friendly dogs that are gentle. Due to Gunner’s preference for a low-key home, we recommend no small kids or a family with too much hustle and bustle. *** Gunner does suffer from chronic ear infections, possibly from food allergies. He is on a fish-based diet as vet feels it`s a poultry allergy. There is a pet store brand food that has limited ingredients which he likes, but in the future there is a possibility of a prescription diet if it persists. He will also need to stay on daily (inexpensive) allergy meds purchased at your local store. Gunner should have yearly wellness visits to check the ears, and if any issues from time to time may need an ear drop or cleanings. He is a trooper and does very well with this and it`s quite manageable. But his furever owner will need to know his ears should be watched for his optimal comfort and happiness.

* PART OF A PAIRS ONLY ADOPTION WITH GUNNER * This bubbly boy will bring joy and smiles to you each and every day. He’s funny, playful, and such a cuddly loving boy. He and his cousin/brother Gunner (same dad/moms were sisters) are very closely bonded, so much that we won’t separate them. Gizmo is the small and mighty of the two, and Gunner is the big timid boy who lets Gizmo run the show. Even though Giz is easy going, since Gunner is a bit timid and doesn’t like things too loud or a large crowd, we recommend the boys be in a quieter home with no small children. Other pets such as cat-friendly kind dogs and playful and social cats are fine for the boys; they get along with all. What a wonderful duo they are. They promise to give you much love. *** Giz had an ear polyp removed some time back and there have been no issues since. If any ear infections or signs that he is pawing at his ear or shaking his head, his forever owner will need to ensure the vet checks his ear/s for any problems. He is on a fish-based limited ingredient diet (as the vet felt his brother Gunner had poultry based allergies, and they eat together).

Wow what a sweetheart this one is! Marmalade is so adorably loving, but she will start out very timid and will need a couple days to get to know and trust her new owner/s. Once she does she is enjoys attention and affection, though she is also quite independent. She can be so playful once she’s comfortable. It is unclear at this time if she should be an only pet, as she is so very interested in other kitties but is VERY ROUGH, to the point most only kitties can not tolerate it. She is in no way aggressive but no other cats other than her brother who was already adopted or her mother, appreciate her well rehearsed wrestling moves. At this time, Marmalade is experiencing some urinary issues, diagnosed as cystitis, which requires prescription food and intermittent meds for flare ups. For this reason we think someone with previous cat experience will be best for little miss Marmalade. Her favorite pastime is bird and squirrel watching through screened-in windows; she very much loves the breeze in her face. Marmalade`s little loving coos will melt your heart. She has the `forever kitten` face and tiniest nose; there is no way not to fall in love with her!

Figaro or `Figgy` as he`s affectionately called is such a sweet and good boy. Figgy is part of a pairs only adoption, along with his very closely bonded brother Burley. Fig likes to play and cuddle and be pet by his people. He also lovvvvves to snuggle and nap with his other half Burley. They compliment each other so nicely and are such wonderful fellas. They have purrrrfect litter box manners, adapt to new surroundings quite easily, and would be a joy in any household looking for a lovely pair. Not sure how they would be with other cats or dogs.
