Story
We adopted Oscar from the humane society at around 6 months old. He's approximately 2 years old now. He's a completely indoor cat with the exception of going in the fenced backyard sometimes. He's a very sweet cat and likes to cuddle as male cats tend to do. He is litter box trained and loves his hammock. We don't have children, but he has been around infants and toddlers. He's a very patient cat and will leave the room if a situation becomes too much. He's our only cat, so we're not sure how he is with other cats but given how patient he is, I don't believe it would be a problem. He loves to play with our dog and has played with my family's dogs too. He has scratched on the furniture before, but after increasing the amount of scratchers he rarely does it. He's a good cat but he has one major problem that we just can't fix. He pees on fabric: Jackets, blankets, pillows etc. The vet says he's totally healthy but we can't keep up with it and think he may do better as an outdoor cat.

Story
Meet Ziggy, My beloved senior cat who has been a cherished member of my family for the past 13 years. With a coat as soft as freshly spun silk and eyes that have seen many a sunlit day, Ziggy embodies the quiet wisdom and gentle charm that only age can bring. At 13, ziggy has gracefully embraced the art of leisure. Her favorite pastimes include leisurely naps in sun-drenched spots around the house, her purr a soft and constant hum that soothes the soul. Ziggy has always been a cat who appreciates the finer things in life. She adores being gently brushed and pampered! As much as we have cherished every moment with ziggy, we have come to realize that her needs are changing with age. I want her to have a home where she can enjoy her golden years in tranquility and comfort. It's never easy to say goodbye, but we know that finding Ziggy a new home where she can thrive is the best decision for her.

Story
Why have only one house panther when you can have a wonderful matched set? Illya and Napoleon are two gorgeous all-black short-hairs with golden eyes and satiny coats. Illya has a scattering of white hairs on his back (like tweed); Napoleon's white hairs are clustered in a tiny patch on his throat. Both are amazingly muscular and athletic. Watching them is like seeing two art deco statues come to life. They work as a team, circling, swooping, jumping and investigating everything together. Since they are adolescents, they are very playful and energetic. And SMART. Illya and Napoleon are very quick to learn and adapt. Other cats don't worry them in the least. Both are naturally skittish, but loving and expressive when they get to know you. Illya is the friendly boy and Napoleon is the affectionate boy. They love to hang out with their people, and Napoleon is accustomed to curling up against his person's throat for extra pets and kisses. Both are enthusiastic biscuit-makers. Illya and Naoleon had severe respiratory and eye infections as babies. The eye issues are cleared up, but Illya is still taking medicine for his stubborn respiratory infection which seems to responding to medication. So at first, you'll be squirting medicine into a very active boy once a day. Illya and Napoleon are remarkable, fascinating boys and will bring a lot of love, energy and interest into any household lucky enough to adopt them.
