Story
We have had Maeby Fae since she was an adolescent kitten, about 4 years. She is quite shy and does not like to be picked up or held. She probably would not do well with small children. However, she can be quite affectionate with people she trusts. When I work from home, she loves to curl up in my lap for the day. She loves her snacks so she can be bribed. Maeby is litter box trained and knows how to use pet doors. She enjoys time outside but does not roam. She has lived with one other cat and six different dogs (not at the same time).

Story
Stacy (orange female) and her brother, Sammy (dark chocolate male), were inside-only cats until the primary caretaker was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, they have been living in a covered outdoor enclosure with heated pads. The primary caretaker recently passed away, and his wife is not staying in the house and will be unable to keep them. Both are spayed and neutered, groom themselves well, and are litterbox trained. They do not have recent vaccinations but are healthy. They do not have any health or behavior problems. Stacy is friendly and outgoing, Sammy is more shy and takes time to warm up to strangers. It's unknown how they will be with children and dogs, but they are very cuddly. They'd love to live indoors and be brushed regularly. They can be adopted together or separately as long as they go to a good home.

Draco is about 11 years old. He is great with other animals and kids. He is very loving and relaxed- not hyper or crazy! He loves to snuggle. We need to find him a new home within the next week before we move - the new place doesn’t accept pets.

Story
Meet Buster!    Buster is a short-haired kitty who has more brown in her coat with white on her body. She is about 7 years old. Buster was surrendered back in July 2022.  She has been here for over a year. She has made tremendous progress though and is showing lots of improvement. She will hide if you startle her or she doesn’t know you. She will stay out in the open in a quiet environment. She does love her wet food and treats. She loves to be petted as well. She loves to stick her tongue out and can often be found like that. She’s doing so well and is ready to find a new family to give her lots of love. Please be patient if you come in to meet her and she doesn’t initially show interest in you or even stay out. Please come in on a Tuesday or Saturday if you’re interested in adopting her.  She will warm up and has lots of love to offer you. Call us or stop by today to say hi!  Adoption prices: Kittens 0-4 months - $80 5 months -7 Yrs. -  $70 8 Yrs. Story
Meet Buddy!   Buddy is a short-haired tabby w/ white. He is about 3 years old. He was adopted and recently returned due to no fault of his own. He’s a big boy who is adjusting to being back in the shelter. He’s a sweet guy who seems to be a little shy when you first meet him. He loves to give everybody the biggest head bumps. He is very cat-friendly. We were told he’s bonded to Missy and his previous adopter recommends they be adopted together. You don’t see them together much in the room but it’s hard to say how they would do in a home setting. He’s got a laid-back personality once he adjusts to his environment. It seems like he could be quite needy in a home environment and could become quite cuddly. He is dog and kid-friendly (per his previous adopter) but we are unsure of the ages he does well with. Please bring in your kids before adoption to make sure he does well with them. He’s ready to find his perfect home. Please stop in and meet him today!  Adoption prices: Kittens 0-4 months - $80 5 months -7 Yrs. -  $70 8 Yrs.
