Story
My partner and I rescued Toast when he was around 6-8 weeks old -- we heard his little mews from the woods across the street from our apartment and couldn't resist taking him in. Over the next year we got him neutered, chipped, and fully up to date on vaccinations. Toast is now almost 4 years old and weighs about 20 pounds! He likes to throw his entire weight into getting good pets and head scritches. He's a bit of a scaredy cat sometimes, but he's a big gentle boy. He loves to take naps on our back patio, so you score big bonus points with him if you have a patio where he can snooze! It takes Toast a week or two to get used to a new environment, but once he knows he's safe, he has a lot of love to give. (While he is getting used to a new environment, he is not in any way aggressive. He just hides until he feels ready!) My partner and I are moving soon, and unfortunately there is a policy against cats. We're looking for someone who can love our Toot Toot as much as we have!

Story
I was renting a home in New Port Richey in 2022 where Kitty would visit regularly. I noticed she was underweight. She returned daily for several weeks. After continuing to visit and charm me with her friendliness, I allowed her in to stay. She seemed feral but domestic also. She is extremely smart and a true survivor and prefers being outside. She will meow to go outside. She stays close by when outdoors. She has her litterbox but prefers to do her business outside. She would never make in the home. A home with a doggy door would be a plus. She loves dogs and plays and sleeps with them. She is kind to other cats but comes in the house if a neighbors cat comes by. So she doesn't attract strays. She is trainable. I have yelled at her to not pick things with her nails and she truly listens. It has not been a problem at all. I can no longer keep her as I have had to move in with my elderly mother to care for her. I am praying for a good home for Kitty. She is 4 yrs old.

Story
Theo was adopted by us when my son's college roommate abandoned him 7 yrs ago. He is an inside cat & has never lived outside. The pictures are from our screened in lanai which he loves. He loves people & dogs. We were told he is a Russian Blue. He is very gentle & sweet with a very soft cute quiet meow. He is absolutely gorgeous! We have another cat in our home that has turned into a bully now that he is an adult. He is very much larger and intimidates poor Theo constantly. So Theo won't come out from hiding and get the cuddles and love he deserves unless the other cat is either in another room or closed up on our lanai. We are hoping we can find him a single cat home that will be able to give him all the love and attention he deserves as he is just the sweetest cat. We are very selective in placement and will not let him go unless we are assured he will be cared for and loved just as much as he is now. We just want him to have a happy life and not be scared all the time.
