Story
Tweety Bird is shy, but sweet. She can usually be found curled up on a cat shelf or in a cat cubby with one of her cat friends. While she is shy, she does enjoy gentle cheek and head pets. Tweety Bird has been at the shelter for too long and we would love to find her a home with a patient human who will go slow with her. She would also do best in a home with another cat. Story
Hi I'm Rain! I came into this cool shelter with my siblings Ash and Nugget. For some reason we've been here a while and I'm not sure why. Yeah, I can be a little shy at first, but with some time I can show you that I'm an amazing cat. I get along with all cats I meet, and I would love to be adopted into a home with one of my siblings or another cat! I just love cats! Will you come and meet me? Apply today or stop by Saturdays at the shelter from 12-4pm to meet me and my friends!

Story
Nugget is a handsome orange tabby with the cutest nose and a striking coat. He loves to curl up in a cat cubby or a box and peek out at you. He can come off as shy at first but he's just misunderstood. He takes a little time to warm up and ya know, we can't blame him! He loves to play with dangly wand toys or a laser toy. He also gets along with well other cats and he and his cat friends often give each other loving head bonks. Nugget recently had two mini vacations from the shelter due to two hurricane's near the shelter. His foster reported that given some time, he did warm up to her and he enjoyed getting scratches and pets. He did sometimes hide behind the pillows on the bed, but after a minute, he'd pop back out and come over for more pets. He slso really enjoyed sitting on a window perch and soaking up the sunshine. Nugget has been waiting a while for his special someone and he would love a home! Come and meet him today!

Ethel is a short haired swirl Bengal type Tabby with white feet and white chest. Her mother, Missy appeared at someone's door hungry and scared and very pregnant. She had her babies and Ethel was one of those babies. Ethel has been with us at the shelter for close to three years now. She's on the shy side, but very sweet. She is good with other cats and dogs. She loves lounging on the cat towers and sunning on a window perch.

Story
Curly is a shy, but sweet, brown tabby. She can usually be found curled up in a cat cubby or a box with one of her cat friends. While she is shy, she enjoys gentle cheek and head pets. Curly recently had two mini vacations from the shelter due to back-to-back hurricanes near the shelter. Her hurricane foster reported back to us that while Curly was shy and did hide at first, after a day or two she was more relaxed and loved sitting in a sunny window or laying on the people bed. She let her foster mom give her pets too. Curly is one of our longer residents and we would love to find her a home with a patient human who will go slow with her. It's not required, but we think Curly would do best in a home with another cat she can cuddle with and who would give her some comfort and confidence. Interested in meeting Curly?? Apply today!
