This cat is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $50 if picked up in TN. Visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application/ to apply. Meet Dolly, the cat who acts like a dog! She greets you at the door, keeps a kindly protective watch, and prefers to be with her people. Dolly loves to cuddle up for naps and will serenade the home with her vocal talents, just like her namesake, Dolly Parton. This blue, tan, and white dilute tortoiseshell one-year-old Domestic Short-Hair beauty is a rare find, both in looks and personality. Dolly has an energetic and affectionate nature that makes her stand out. Dolly enjoys listening to music during car rides, which showcases her sophisticated taste! She takes a little while to warm up in new environments but once she does, she is all cuddles and charm! In her foster home, she’s adjusting well to living with other cats, children, and new people, showing her adaptability and patience. She can adapt to a quiet home or a lively one with children, as long as she has plenty of space to be herself. If you’re looking for a loving, sweet, cuddle bug of a companion who’s always ready to greet you with enthusiasm, Dolly is your perfect match!  Interested in adopting? He gets along great with other cats. He hasn't been around any dogs. Talon is very loving and affectionate. His favorite place to be rubbed is his belly. Story
Hello, my name is Lennox. I was born homeless in a very scary place. Thankfully my foster mom came and rescued me. She told me I will never have to know what it's like to not be loved again. I get along great with other cats and kids. I haven't been around any dogs. I love to play with all my new toys. But my favorite thing is chasing the red light everywhere. I don't know why I can't catch it. I love to be scratched on my belly and my ears. My foster mom says that I'm a very smart boy and that I learn things really fast. I enjoy watching the birds out the window, cuddling, and giving kisses. I am patiently waiting for someone to adopt me. I promise to be the best boy ever.

Story
~ I want to live with adults and teens who are gentle and respectful of pets.~ I want to be the only pet so I can get all the attention.~ I am a quiet and reserved kitty. I would prefer a peaceful home.Meet Francine! This sweet, 3-year-old, 9.1 lb, black and white, Domestic Shorthair is ready to find her loving home. Francine is a quiet and reserved kitty who thrives in peaceful environments with gentle, respectful humans. She would do best in a home with kids 13 years and older, as long as they understand the importance of giving her space and being calm around her. While Francine prefers to be the only pet, as she’s not fond of other cats and has no experience with dogs, she has so much love to give her humans. A single-pet household would be ideal for her. This shy girl can take some time to adjust to new people and surroundings, but with patience and affection, she’ll warm up and show her true sweet side. Once comfortable, she loves being petted, held, and will even purr softly while nestled in your arms, occasionally dozing off peacefully.Francine enjoys hanging out with her humans, and her medium energy level means she loves a good play session with her stuffed toys, crinkly toys, or bell toys. She’s also content just relaxing beside you, soaking in the calm companionship.Because Francine has found herself as a stray before, it’s essential that she be kept indoors to ensure she doesn’t wander off again. If you`re looking for a gentle, loving companion who just needs a little time to adjust, fill out an adoption application today to learn more about Francine from one of our adoption counselors!

Story
These photos do not do justice for her. Her coloring called Torbie is so vivid and bright! Belle came with several other cats from an abandonment case. She is now used to our dogs and being outside around our birds and other animals. she has done so well! Belle is so very loving, given her past being kept in a quiet home she does at times still startle at new things...but she is smart and adapts quickly!
