It breaks my heart to write this, but I'm looking to re-home my beloved cat, who I have raised since he was a kitten. He's a playful, curious boy with a gentle spirit. While he can be a bit shy at first when meeting new people, once he warms up to you, he's affectionate and fun to be around. He loves interactive toys, lounging in sunny spots, and watching the world go by from the window. He would do best in a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and loved as he adjusts to his new surroundings. I adopted Oreo from L.O.L.A's Rescue Felines in 2020 when he was just 8 weeks old! He is now about 5 years old. Oreo is a domestic shorthair tuxedo cat. He loves getting an abundant amount of treats, playing hide and seek as well as exploring around the house and outside (when the weather is nice). He is a pretty independent cat who takes a ton of naps, enjoys the sun, and loves cuddling at night. It's become difficult to care for Oreo with my current work schedule and having two kiddos under two years of age that are constantly trying to chase him! We are really interested in finding a caring home for Oreo where he can be comfortable without kiddos chasing him and can be cared of throughout the day. He is used to being independent and keeping himself busy throughout the day but does need at least 1 check-in a day to cuddle or get a snack/treat for being so good!

He is very shy and doesnt really like to be pet or sit on your lap. I think with some patients and time with the right person that would change.... he does love to play and will come up to you and be affectionate to get your attention. He is a sweety and gets along with other cats.

Meet Meow Meow, our affectionate, vocal boy who's looking for a new forever home. He’s about 2 years old, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s very loving once he feels safe. He’ll greet you at the door after work and loves chatting with his people. Meow Meow is shy at first and needs a calm environment to settle in. It took him about a month to feel at home when we moved, but once he’s comfortable, he becomes a sweet companion who just wants to be near you. We’re heartbroken to rehome him, but with two small toddlers and allergies in the household, it’s no longer a good environment for him. He’s been stressed, which has led to some inappropriate urination and scratching, and we believe he would thrive in a quieter home without young children or other pets. We’re looking for a patient, cat-experienced person or family who can give him the calm, stable space he needs to feel safe and loved. If you’re interested or have questions, please reach out.

I adopted Jax from a county animal shelter in Los Angeles when he was 4 months old. He was my constant companion and my ‘only child’ for 10 years. Ever since I gave birth to my first baby last year, I have found it to be increasingly difficult to pay as much attention to him as I used to able to before I got pregnant. He does not want to share the spotlight with another living thing, and it is evident that he will be much happier in a child-free home without other animals, where he is the center of attention. He is a very good cat, does not have litter box issues, and can be incredibly loving to you once he warms up. He deserves the absolute best, and as much as it pains me to say this, I am not able to provide that for him. He still likes to chase his tail as though he is a kitten. He loves to play with his toys and to jump up on your lap when you sit down. He is very affectionate around people that he knows and trusts. He prefers a quiet, peaceful household.
