I came into the shelter as a stray along with my already weaned, kittens! I have been very shy since my arrival at the shelter and I would enjoy a quiet and calm home with humans that respect my personal space. Come meet me today!! We recommend calling the shelter at 719-395-2737 after you submit your application to ensure that we have received it. You can also give us a call if you have any questions or would like to learn more about a specific animal. Walk-ins are welcome during our open hours Monday-Saturday 12-5pm, although an adoptable animal may be in a foster home instead of at the shelter, so we also recommend calling us prior to driving to the shelter to confirm the pet`s current location. If you prefer emailing instead, you can reach our staff at to info@ark-valley.org, however, time sensitive matters would be addressed quicker via phone.Note: We do not DNA test our animals to determine breeds.
