Story

Woozle is a senior Kitty (approximately 17 years old). We have loved him, and he has loved us, since he was 9 weeks old. Although he is of age, Woozle is energetic during his waking hours. He's always been a house cat as his front paws have been declawed. We had a large second story deck in his first 10 years of his life and he enjoyed being out on the deck soaking in the sun. Although our children were responsible for their pets, they grew up and left for school and now have their own pets and their careers. Of course, their pets became our second set of children. Woozle grew up and lived with our rescue pets, a female cat Bamboozle and a female dog (Chloe). They were pals until the passing of Chloe and Bamboozle. The main cause for our search for another home for Woozle is due to severe allergies. Medical solutions have not helped. Woozle would do best in a quiet home, with someone who has caring hands and a warm lap. Let us know if this might be you. Thank you!

His story is as unique as he is—three years ago, we rescued him from the engine of my mother-in-law's car. After ensuring he had no microchip or a family, we gave him a home filled with love and care. For nearly three wonderful years, Señor Gato has brought joy to our family. While our husky needed some time to adjust, they’ve managed to coexist peacefully. However, with our son now 10 months old and crawling, Señor Gato has been feeling overwhelmed. Despite his gentle nature, he’s started marking his territory in the baby’s room as he tries to avoid the little one’s curious chases. Titus is a sweet outgoing boy that loves to play and loves people. He is a. little over 1 year old. He is a silly boy that loves to run around and he is very vocal. Titus is food motivated. He has scripture bands that he loves to play around with and chase under doors. He doesn’t mind being picked up and given kisses. Once he’s attached to you (which wont take long), he will follow you everywhere just to make sure he’s near you. Once you start petting him, he purs a lot! He also loves to nap near you or on you. He loves to cuddle and nap with his sister, Serena. When they are separated, they will look for eachother to make sure they can see one another.

Serena is a such a sweet girl but is more shy than her brother, Titus. She does not like loud noises. she is a little over a year old. It takes a while for her to get used to new people. She will try to hide under the bed or couch, but once you build a pattern of feeding her food and treats, she will start getting used to you. Serena isn’t as food motivated, but she likes treats (Churu). Once she is used to you, she will give you light head butts letting you know she wants to be pet and have her chin rubbed (her favorite spot). She does not liked to be picked up or kissed much. She isn’t as vocal as Titus, but when she’s hungry, she will let you know.

We got Chandler at a petsmart when he was 3 months old. He is currently 4 and we are looking for a new home for him. We feel like our environment is too stressful for him, with two large dogs and a toddler. Ideally this new home would have no other pets or children, or at most one well behaved dog. We want him to live the best most relaxing and stress free life he can. We do not think we are able to provide him with that anymore unfortunately. He does okay with children but has swatted and nipped a few times which is part of the reason we feel we need to re home him. Chandler is cuddly when he warms up to you and is very active. He loves running and climbing.
