Story
Bear is a sweet, affectionate black cat who thrives in a calm, predictable environment. He’s a little shy at first but becomes incredibly loving once he feels safe. Bear enjoys companionship but can get overstimulated by too much activity, so he’s best suited for a quiet home with a consistent routine. He gets along well with dogs but isn’t a fan of other cats, and he’d love to be the cherished companion of an older adult looking for a loyal friend. Due to a job change that requires extended travel, I can no longer provide the stability Bear needs. It’s a difficult decision, but I want to find him the perfect forever home where he can truly flourish. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving feline friend who enjoys cozy companionship, Bear might just be the perfect match for you. 🖤🐾

Story
Meet this adorable 8-year-old cat who’s full of personality and loves to chat. She’s super smart and friendly. This kitty is comfortable both indoors and outdoors, making her a perfect fit for someone who likes to stay active, whether you’re gardening, painting, or doing other fun activities. She’s well-behaved, litter trained and can be trusted in the house. When the weather’s nice and it’s safe, she’ll also enjoy going outside. This cat prefers to be the only kitty in the house, but she doesn’t mind sharing her home with a friendly neutered male cat around her age. She gets along with certain other animals too, and enjoys the company of her humans. For the right owner, we’ll even waive the adoption fee. We’re looking for someone with a safe outdoor space, preferably homeowners who can communicate well with cats and have a special bond with our feline friends. If you're interested in adopting this lovely cat, please tell us a bit about yourself and your living conditions.

Story
Brothers, Dougie and Tristan were born at the college of San Mateo. They were older than the other kittens that had been trapped when they were rescued so they took longer to socialize.  Now Doug is a love-bug. Dougie is the shy brother who loves tummy rubs. He loves to play with ribbons and get treats from your fingers. Is yours the family for a wonderful boy? Please note: Indoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1742331709&src=aap]

Story
Maya was found abandoned at the end of a driveway in Half Moon Bay. She was in a carrier with another cat, 2 beds and bowls but no other information. Maya is about 6 years old and healthy but needed a dental which she came through like a champ! Maya's fur coloring is really unique. One side and her head and tail are beautifully colored in browns, oranges and black. Her other side is pure white. It is as if she was born before the powers that be were finished painting the other half of her body. Maya loves attention. She will let you know when she has had enough. She does like to get petted and holds up her end of a conversation. She loves to garner all the attention so it would be best if Maya was an only kitty in her home. Is your family looking for a beautiful blue-eyed princess to be a companion for your family? Maya is waiting for you. Please note: Maya would do best as an only childIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1742331709&src=aap]

Story
Mom cat (Nellie) was rescued in a mobile home park in Moss Beach. Shortly after, she gave birth to 5 kittens. Unfortunately, one of the kittens did not survive. One of the kittens has been adopted by one of the veterinary clinics and the other 3 kittens have come to CIW. The two little girls (Jo Jo and Bailey) and one little boy (Marley) are sweet, healthy kittens. They have been spayed/neutered, started their vaccinations, Mom tested negative for feline leukemia and feline aids and are microchipped. They love to play and be cuddled. They would be great indoor companions. Are you ready for a new housemate or two? Please note: Bailey should be adopted with a littermateIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1742331709&src=aap]
