Story
Bear has lived with us for two years. Bear is an active cat. He likes to chase toys, and he'll make a toy out of anything. His current favorite toy is a hair tie. When not active, Bear enjoys being nearby. He doesn't spend time on our lap. Instead, he finds a nearby spot. Bear makes great noises when he sees a bird or squirrel through our window. He often mimics the sound other animals make when he sees another animal. He makes a different sound for birds than squirrels. Bear loves to be combed. I comb him at least twice per day. His hair can get knotted if he is not combed. I believe Bear lived with other pets with his previous owner. I believe he would do better if he had other cats or other pets. He sees cats through our windows and wants to play with them. He does not hiss. He is looking for someone to play with. This is the main reason we need to find him another home. I am no longer working from home nearly as much a

Story
Loki is looking for a forever home full of cuddle-hugs and laser-pointer chases! Loki and her sister, Odin, are about nine years old. My brother raised them both since they were young kittens, but he is unable to take care of them any longer (for circumstances unrelated to the cats), so I've been fostering them. Having cared for them for a few months, I'm confident they can be rehomed together or separately; they cuddle together sometimes but mostly seem to do their own thing. Loki is the more quiet and reserved of the pair. She takes a little while to warm up to new people, but once you're on her good side, you'll never be lacking a cuddle buddy. Instead of curling up on your lap, she prefers to lie right on your chest, like she's trying to give you a hug. She spends most of the daytime finding sunny spots to stretch out and lounge. She's especially happy if there's a window with a birdfeeder she can watch. Her favorite playtime activity, by far, is intensive laser-pointer chases.

Odin is looking for a forever home full of chin-scratchs and laser-pointer chases! Odin and her sister, Loki, are about nine years old. Odin is the more talkative and attention-loving of the pair. She absolutely cannot get enough pets and chin-scratches. She's the only cat I've met that not only asks for belly rubs, but doesn't even do the typical cat thing of "you can rub my belly once and then I'll bite you" -- she'll just happily roll around for more pets, purring like a car engine. Like her sister, she loves birdwatching (bonus points if you have a bird feeder) and her favorite playtime activity, by far, is intensive laser-pointer chases.

Story
Meet Bandit and Smokey, two adorable kitten brothers looking for their forever home. Born approximately on May 27, 2024, this playful brother duo is at the perfect age to join your home as you new fur babies!   Bandit, the shyer of the two, has the sweetest little face and big, curious eyes. He’s a bit reserved at first, often hiding behind his brother until he feels safe. But once Bandit warms up to you, he’s all about gentle purrs and soft cuddles. He’ll need a patient family who understands that he might take a little extra time to come out of his shell. With a bit of love and care, Bandit is sure to become a loyal and affectionate companion.    Smokey, on the other hand, is the complete opposite! He’s the life of the party, always bouncing around and chasing after toys. This social boy is super playful and loves to snuggle up after a fun play session. He’s confident and adventurous, often trying to coax Bandit into joining in the fun. Smokey's playful energy and love for snuggles make him the perfect partner for someone looking for an active, affectionate kitty.    These two brothers share a special brother bond and love for each other. Adopting them together would not only give them the comfort of each other's company but also bring double the love and joy into your home. They can also be separated if you have a young and social cat at home looking for a forever companion. Smokey and Bandit are ready to fill your life with purrs, snuggles, and endless fun!   Smokey and Bandit have been altered, up-to-date with kitten age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped. They've been tested negative for FeLV and FIV.   To meet this playful and sweet brother duo, please complete an application at https://www.purrificrescue.org/adoptOctober 27, 2024, 11:18 pm

Story
Sweet Nori is a delightfully chipper brown tabby who is extremely affectionate, loves belly rubs, and is adorably vocal.   Not much is known about sweet Nori as he showed up as a backyard stray of a good Samaritan at the beginning of the year. While it’s unknown as to how long he has been a stray, Nori took to the cushy indoor lifestyle literally overnight. We strongly believe that a fully indoor life would be ideal and would suit this sweetie terrifically. What is so endearing about Nori is that while he’s maybe not the brightest boy and doesn’t seem to have much attention span or enthusiasm for toys, his heart is certainly in the right place. He doesn’t need fancy tricks to win you over as he will capture your heart with his giant smile, magnificent flops-drop-and-rolls, and his expressive conversation. He will cuddle up close every chance he gets!  Nori is a somewhat petite boy weighing under 9 pounds, is freshly neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations and current on monthly flea treatment. This sweet cutie can’t wait to find a family and home to call his own! He’d make a fabulous companion for anyone and any family! Submit an application at https://www.purrificrescue.org/adopt and meet sweet Nori soon! *You can bring home Nori as your forever best friend during Fall in Love Adoption Promotion for only $75.  October 27, 2024, 11:18 pm
