Story
Age: 10 months old Gender: Female Breed: Domestic shorthair cat Weight: 7.5 lbs Personality: Miss RuPaul was found in a parking lot in Mississippi at just a couple weeks old and then was flown to TAP. She is very friendly and energetic. She loves to play and make biscuits on her fuzzy blanket. Like all babies she loves food and attention and if you’ve got those you’re good in her book! She is dog and kitty friendly and most likely good with kids (haven't met them yet). Education: She wears a diaper as she is incontinent. Favorite Activities: Playing with any toys but especially strings Looking for: A home where she will have toys and people to give her attention. Ideally no stairs she will need to go up or down. She is so full of love and playfulness. She is fearless and brings so much joy to the home she is in. She may look different but inside she is the exact same as any other kitten. If you need a ray of sunshine that’s Ru Paul! Special needs: Her back legs are paralyzed and she wears a diaper because she can not control when she goes to the bathroom. Paraplegic, suspect secondary to spinal trauma. No pain and no surgical intervention is needed. Adoption Fee: $ 50 ##2210441##

Story
Hello, I’m Camden! I was a young mama cat that raised five kittens out on the streets. These kittens were trapped and adopted out by a shelter. When I was fixed, I was supposed to return back outside. My trapper noticed that I enjoyed the company of people and brought me inside to foster. I enjoy a window perch, wet food treats, and playing with my circular track toy with a golf ball spinning around in it. I love to chase the ball and can stop it on a dime. I can be protective of my own safety around other cats being on the streets all my life, I am not sure if I would enjoy the company of other cats yet.I am soo excited for my life indoors with my forever home!

Hi! My name is Teddy, and here’s a little more about me:My Social LifeOther cats: I love having feline friends and need a playful kitty companion.Dogs: I’m very curious about dogs and would likely enjoy a friendly canine sibling with slow, proper introductions.Kids: I’d do well with gentle, respectful mini humans who move calmly around kittens. My PersonalitySmart, playful, and incredibly snuggly. I’m active and love interactive play, but when it’s time to rest, I turn into a total cuddle bug. I’m curious about the world around me and enjoy figuring things out—especially when toys are involved!I Enjoy…My four-level ball tower (I’m a pro at keeping the ball in play!)Playing “kitty soccer” with my jingle ballFeather toys and interactive playtimeBeing picked up and snuggling under cozy blanketsFalling asleep right on top of my humansI’m Not a Fan Of…Fast or sudden movementsBeing startled before I know you wellRough handlingWhat Makes Me SpecialI’m not just cute—I’m clever! My problem-solving skills, playful creativity, and melt-into-your-arms cuddles make me a truly special little companion. My Perfect HomeI’m looking for a loving home that appreciates both my energetic play and my affectionate snuggle time. Since I’m a young kitten, I must be adopted into a home with another playful young cat or adopted as part of a pair with an age-appropriate kitten.

Story
Hi! My name is Delilah and here is a bit more about me :My JourneyI came to Smittens as a community cat. I was living in the Logan Heights area. My finder took me to humane society for my right hind leg injury, and it had to be amputated. My Social LifeOther cats? I’m easygoing and happy to share my space.Dogs? Not sure yet — haven’t tried!Kids? I’d likely do well with gentle, kid-sized friends. My PersonalityI`m friendly, gentle, and wonderfully resilient. I adore pets and attention, I make biscuits like a pro, and l love curling up in a warm lap. I have a soft, affectionate nature and a calm presence.I Enjoy…Chin and ear scratchesBeing talked to (she LOVES a good conversation!)Catnip toys and gentle playSnuggling in a cozy, safe spotWhat Makes Me SpecialMy resilience ! My recent hind-leg amputation doesn’t slow me down one bit! I adjusted and now move with confidence, and stay sweet, happy, and affectionate through it all. My Perfect HomeBecause I`ve been recovering from surgery, my long-term energy level is still a bit of a mystery. I would likely thrive in a calm, loving home where I can continue healing and enjoying the quiet companionship I love.My Special NeedsI don`t require any specialized care at this time. Even with three legs, I can easily climb cat trees, navigate furniture, and get around without difficulty.
