Meet Penny the sun goddess! I’m a pretty 14-year-old Calico with the most beautiful green eyes. I was born near Serramonte Ford in Colma, I was rescued with my mom and sister in 2011 who were adopted long ago. I’m a good girl, I use the litter box, and the scratching post. I do like to be petted-but on My terms. I spend my day at the center looking for the sun, I love basking and sleeping in the sunshine but am happy when the volunteers come in to give me attention. I am an active and incredibly smart girl but can also be quite independent. I need an experienced cat owner (I tend to favor Men) who will give me the time and patience to help adjust to a new home. I maybe alright with children 12 and over that understand the ways of cats. I prefer to be the only cat in the household. Jonesy is a gentle soul who charms everyone he meets. He is sweet, and eager for head rubs. He melts into a happy puddle at lap time. He also likes to play, especially with string toys! Jonesy is just over a year old. What’s especially amazing is that Jonesy is sweet, loving and playful on three legs! His broken leg had to be amputated, but he recovered quickly and hasn’t looked back. He would be perfect for a quiet, indoor-only home with or without another kitty.
