Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
I adopted Sophie at the Placer SPCA in September 2021, she was 6 years old at the time of adoption and is currently 9 years old. An ideal home for Sophie would be an experienced owner with adults only in the household. Sophie is required to be the only cat in the household due to not getting along with other animals. Children make Sophie nervous. Sophie can be described as a talkative, skittish, playful sometimes, can become cuddly when she is comfortable, she loves to look outside for squirrels and birds, She loves catnip. Story
Athena is a 5 year old cat who needs to be in a single pet household. She has been completely indoor her entire life. We are seeking to rehome her due to us bringing home a child this past September and her spraying in my daughter’s room. She is sweet and loving but does tend to want to be alone unless she comes up to you.

Story
Jax was born December 30, 2017. She currently lives with her mother, and brother and sister from her same litter. She is a very sweet but very shy kitty. Jax has a mental disorder Feline Hyperesthesia, aka twitchy cat syndrome. We recently discovered that shaving her helps with her discomfort and episodes. Jax can be very cuddly, and even pet you back at times. She’s a very silly cat, she goes absolutely bananas for a laser light, and loves mice sized toys. She is a very loving cat but my home life is no longer best for her.

Story
Sun aka Mama was born May 2016, my dad gifted her to me at about 8 weeks old. She has had 2 litters(first at the end of 2017, second in late 2018) with 4 babies each but one didn’t last long past birth each time. She currently lives with her 3 children from her first litter. She is a very friendly and loving cat. She treats everyone and everything like her baby, from guests to my daughter’s stuffed animals. She gets along decently with other cats, and from 2(xxx) xxx-xxxx she did live with and LOVE my dad’s dog. However she hasn't been exposed to dogs since and shows fear of them. Sun loves sunbathing, eating you out of house and home, cuddling on the couch, and cleaning you like you’re her kitten. She’s a little older but she is a wonderful cat. I wish I could keep her but she isn’t happy about me having my own child now and I don’t have the time nor energy to give her the love and attention I once did. I just want her to feel loved again.

Story
She's used to one brand of food. When other brands introduced or "free-feed" she will regurgitate. Do not have medical history to know whether neutered. Once belonged to a couple who moved and left the cat behind. She has since been with one senior owner for at least the past 8 yrs. Owner now has dementia and been hospitalized and will not return home. Munchie always slept on bed with owner each night. She sleeps a lot during the day and would make another senior an easy-to-care for companion once adjusted. The cat is temporarily being taken care of in the empty apartment. If not able to be adopted, she will have to be euthanized.

Story
Diddle Doo is a great cat. He will be 1 year on May 18th. I am in a one bedroom apartment and I have way too many cats. We let in a stray cat and she had kittens under my bed. We found homes for most of them but I kept a few to many. He is a little shy but will warm up fast.
