Story
Meet Mario, a young feline resident of our rescue. His temperament is as mellow as a summer afternoon, always ready to curl up and purr the day away. His gentle nature is soothing, providing a calm presence in any room he enters. Mario's friendly demeanor makes him a delightful companion. He's the type of cat who will greet you at the door after a long day, his sweet purrs a comforting welcome home. His loyalty is unwavering, always by your side, sharing your joys and comforting you in times of stress. Mario's sweet, loyal, and gentle nature makes him the perfect addition to any home. Adopt Mario, and experience the joy of a companion who will always be there for you, with a purr and a gentle nudge of his head. At Orphan Kitten Rescue, we prioritize the well-being and socialization of our kittens, exposing them to various environments, including households with dogs, other cats, toddlers, and even the ubiquitous vacuum. Once our kittens have received a minimum of two vaccines, they are introduced to the kitty playroom, fostering interactions with their fellow feline companions. Our commitment to providing you with a healthy, content, and well-adjusted kitten translates into a higher adoption fee, allowing us to offer comprehensive benefits and minimize the need for immediate veterinary attention. Currently, our adoption fee is available at a reduced rate of $150 for some of our cats, with the exception of orange cats ($275) and white & Maine Coon cats ($300). Each kitten comes fully equipped with all three FVRCP vaccines, thorough deworming, parasite, flea, and tick treatment, microchipping with a lifetime registration, and more. While most of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption, those too small undergo our "foster to adopt" program, enabling adopters to build a strong bond with their new fur baby. To participate in the foster-to-adopt program, adopters pay the total adoption fee, with the spaying/neutering appointment scheduled by our staff once the kitten reaches the appropriate weight. For those looking to secure a specific kitten, a non-refundable hold fee of $125 can be placed. This fee ensures the removal of the listing and reserves the kitten for 14 days, unless otherwise agreed upon. To initiate the adoption process or arrange a meet and greet, please fill out the interest card on the posting or complete the attached adoption application. Our rescue is located in Northern California, precisely in Manteca, and we regret to inform you that we do not transport kittens out of state. Should you have any inquiries, feel free to reach us at info@orphankittenrescue.org or by text at 510-299-2031 to schedule a visit. Your understanding and support are greatly appreciated. ##1882673##

Story
Elvira is an adorable, black kitten who is a little love bug. She is one of 3 kittens found with her mom Mama Morticia. She is a bit shy and will need a little patience to come out of her shell. She likes pets and purrs once she gets to know you. Her gentle spirit and friendly nature make her the purfect addition to any family, ready to bring happiness and love to her furever home. At Orphan Kitten Rescue, we prioritize the well-being and socialization of our kittens, exposing them to various environments, including households with dogs, other cats, toddlers, and even the ubiquitous vacuum. Story
Hi! I'm Birdie. I'm an outgoing and playful tuxedo, looking for my own home. A nice lady found me, raised me and my siblings until we were 7 weeks and then called OKR for help. I'm a curious little girl who would do well with kids, dogs and other cats. I'm not scared and am ready to play. I love wet food and dry food. I also love toys! I am already spayed and have 2 vaccines. All you have to do is make sure I get my 3rd vaccine and I will be good to go! Wanna adopt me??? NOTE: OKR kittens come to us from backyards, barns, bushes, garages, shelters, and the streets. We help them heal physically and emotionally, so they are ready for their furever homes. Most of our kittens are under a year old, with a few adults available. We expose many OKR kittens to dogs, other cats, toddlers, and the dreaded vacuum! After three vaccines, our kittens are welcome into the kitten clubhouse, where they meet all their new friends.  Some of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption. If the kitten you choose is not yet spayed/neutered, we will notify you of the next available surgery date and the cost is covered as part of the adoption fee.  We want our adopters to have every opportunity to bond with their new fur baby. We have the FOSTER TO ADOPT PROGRAM that allows you to adopt a kitten before it has been spayed/neutered and has at least 2 FVRCP vaccines. To adopt a kitten, the adoption fee must be paid in full and the kitten must be brought to their pre-scheduled spay/neuter appointment. Our goal is to send you home with a healthy, happy, well-cared-for kitten, so we offer more services to accomplish that goal. Each kitten will receive up to 3 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, parasite and flea treatments, a nail trim, and microchipped.  Adoption Fee: $250 with a few exceptions of breed and color from $325 as listed. If you want to place a HOLD on any kitten, the NON-REFUNDABLE hold fee is 50% of the adoption fee. We will then remove the listing and hold the kitten for you. Please send a text message to the numbers below to set up a meet and greet. Showings are by appointment only and hosted (almost) every Saturday and Sunday. Our rescue is in Northern CA (Manteca) and we do not transport out of state. If you would like to set up a meet and greet with a kitten or have questions, please text 510-299-2031 for Jessica. ##2048521##
