Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some cat experience Best in an adult only home, savvy teens may be ok May prefer to be the only cat or slow introduction to a known cat friendly cat Recommend indoor only Gilman is a spirited orange dude with a love for adventure and play. He is active and will play alone or with you throughout the day. His favorite games? His foster family reports, “He is deeply invested in stalking wand toys inside boxes, under blankets, inside his cat tunnel, and room-to-room. He also loves chasing thrown treats or digging treats out of simple puzzle feeders or egg cartons. Random scrabbling noises during the day mean he's found a spring toy or feather ball to bat around, and he regularly bunny kicks his stuffed rat.” He’s an energetic boy who is also deeply curious about his human companions and enjoys supervising daily activities, whether it's cooking, cleaning, working from home, or simply lounging on the couch. He also loves window watching and sometimes the occasional zoomie. Gilman does require plenty of playtime to keep him entertained. He prefers affection and playtime on his own terms, so a human that knows these cues is ideal. He's a lively conversationalist, greeting you with a symphony of meows, chirps, croaks, and rumbles. And after a long day of play and exploration, Gilman seeks out human company, often falling asleep on a horizontal body part with a slight, adorable snore. His foster family quotes The Little Mermaid when describing Gilman: “He’s a redhead who likes to sing, ‘wants to be where the people are,’ and is looking for long-term human love.” Gilman is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
