Story
Ollivander and Pippin an adorable pair of bonded boys. These distinguished gentlemen are waiting patiently for their new home – is it with you? While they’re initially on the reserved side with new people, once you’ve befriended them, their sweet nature just shines through.   Despite being older cats, both Ollivander and Pippin are a playful duo. Ollivander, aka Ollie, prefers playing with toy mice and balls he can chase and is happy to entertain himself. Pippin also likes chasing after mice, but he also really enjoys leaping high in the air to bat at ribbon toys. He’ll keep you entertained with his acrobatics! Both boys seem to be night owls and like to go on late-night escapades where they eat and play after hours. Ollie has a nightly routine where he patrols the house and checks out every room to keep an eye on what’s going on.   As a bonded pair, Ollie and Pippin have a deep connection with each other and are close. They like to sleep near each other under the covers of a blanket or bed, and often they’ll groom each other. Occasionally they’ll have a little spat that quickly resolves once they give one another space if needed.   Ollie is the more outgoing of the pair and loves seeking out attention from his humans. He can still easily startle, so being in a calm home with a patient adopter will be ideal for him. He loves being pet and getting chin scritches! Pippin is also very sweet and friendly; it just takes a little more time and patience for him to get comfortable with people. He also tends to be very protective of Ollie and may get defensive if you pet Ollie while Pippin is right next to him. A great way to win Pippin’s trust is by offering treats. Both cats are very food motivated, which is convenient as Ollie takes a heart medication pill. It’s very easy to administer—he practically prefers his pill pocket treat more than his actual food!   Ollivander and Pippin are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form!   Best Match:   Seeking an adopter with cat experience Would do best in a quiet home, maybe cat savvy kids and teens Bonded Pair Ollivander needs medicine daily to stay happy and healthy Prefers a home without dogs October 28, 2024, 1:40 pm

Story
Meet Thunder:  a big tabby boy with an even bigger personality. Friendly, affectionate, and confident, this lovebug craves attention and wants to be up close and personal with his people. He is a major lap cat, and sleeps on his foster at night. His foster reports that he “sometimes sleeps in my arms with his paws wrapped around my neck and kisses my face.” (You may be getting the sense that Thunder isn’t much for personal space or boundaries.)   Thunder is a curious, intelligent cat who loves to explore and investigate. He eagerly approaches new people and makes a beeline for any item that catches his eye. He is intensely interested in the outside world and may try to sneak out every once in a while. He is also fascinated by laughing and crying, and will come in close to investigate and lick your face.    Thunder is looking for an easygoing, cat-savvy adopter in an adults-only home with no children, as he does like to let you know when he is done being pet or needs to play- so knowing to watch body language is key. He would do best in a home with other cats. He loves to surprise, pounce, and wrestle his cat buddies, so you’ll want to make sure the resident cat(s) would enjoy that kind of play. Thunder happily eats the special diet that keeps his stomach happy, chats away with people and cats alike, and loves a good snooze in a sunny window.   From his funny, loud meow that sounds like a cartoon character to his snoring and silly sleeping positions, Thunder’s big personality means that there will always be plenty of antics to keep you entertained.    Could you be the perfect match for this fun and funny guy? Thunder is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and positive for FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form !   Best Match: Seeking an adopter with extensive cat experience Needs an adult-only home Needs a home with other cats Needs a special diet to stay happy and healthy October 30, 2024, 11:05 pm

Story
Best Match:  Seeking an adopter with some cat experience Could join a calm home with older kids and teens Currently needs daily medication and a special diet to stay happy and healthy May be ok with other cats Needs to be indoor only   Goose is a cat who loves wand toys. Sometimes he’ll chase whatever is on the end of it, but mostly he prefers just to walk around with the wand in his mouth to show it off to his people. Goose loves following people around like a little shadow. He’ll greet you at the door. He loves to sleep with you at night, directly on you or right next to you. And he has even been known to give nose kisses to his favorite people.   Goose can be shy around strangers and may take time to warm up to new people. Once he does, he has plenty of playful energy! This sweet boy can’t wait to play with you throughout the day. He can get a little excited while playing, so he’ll appreciate an adopter who knows how to tell when it’s time for him to do his cooldown exercises.    Goose came to us with a number of medical conditions — some that have resolved completely, and others that we’re actively treating. He couldn't be a kinder gentleman about letting us help him, taking his daily medicine for asthma and eating his special diet for his skin and tummy troubles, which are currently well-managed thanks to this special care. His dermatology and internal medicine veterinarians are so pleased with his progress, and we know that by continuing this care in his new home, Goose will shower you with affection over the rest of his life.   When the foster was asked what’s the one thing you should remember about Goose, she said, “He's the biggest lovebug around! This sweet, affectionate cat will quickly become your best friend, bringing lots of joy and cuddles to your home. His new family will be so lucky to have him!”   Goose is FIV positive. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV. Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some cat experience Best in an adult only home, savvy teens may be ok May prefer to be the only cat or slow introduction to a known cat friendly cat Recommend indoor only Gilman is a spirited orange dude with a love for adventure and play. He is active and will play alone or with you throughout the day. His favorite games? His foster family reports, “He is deeply invested in stalking wand toys inside boxes, under blankets, inside his cat tunnel, and room-to-room. He also loves chasing thrown treats or digging treats out of simple puzzle feeders or egg cartons. Random scrabbling noises during the day mean he's found a spring toy or feather ball to bat around, and he regularly bunny kicks his stuffed rat.” He’s an energetic boy who is also deeply curious about his human companions and enjoys supervising daily activities, whether it's cooking, cleaning, working from home, or simply lounging on the couch. He also loves window watching and sometimes the occasional zoomie. Gilman does require plenty of playtime to keep him entertained. He prefers affection and playtime on his own terms, so a human that knows these cues is ideal. He's a lively conversationalist, greeting you with a symphony of meows, chirps, croaks, and rumbles. And after a long day of play and exploration, Gilman seeks out human company, often falling asleep on a horizontal body part with a slight, adorable snore. His foster family quotes The Little Mermaid when describing Gilman: “He’s a redhead who likes to sing, ‘wants to be where the people are,’ and is looking for long-term human love.” Gilman is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some cat experience Could join a calm home with older kids and teens Needs daily medication for hyperthyroidism   Tifa wants two things in life: physical touch (on her terms, of course), and naps. A perfect day for this beautiful cat is breakfast, a nap with her paw on your foot, maybe some playtime with a dangly toy, another nap (but this time with her paw resting on another part of your body), dinner, and some forehead kisses.    She’s hyperthyroid but is easy to medicate; she’ll happily take her medication in a pill pocket twice a day at mealtimes. According to her foster parent, “she comes in mostly blob form - her favorite thing is to nap the day away, preferably next to your head or hands.”   Ready for a life of companionship with an easygoing cat? Tifa might be the one for you. If you're interested in setting up a meeting with Tifa or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form !
