Sweet, warm tabby looking for a home. Adopted from Humane Society Silicon Valley 3 years ago. Spayed and chipped, all vaccinations up to date. We are hoping to rehome her due to allergies in elders in our household. We'll give you all supplies for her care, including scratch pads, litter box, sleeping dome, cat stand, left-over litter and food.

Story

K.L. is 5 years old and we had him since he was a kitten. He is a Pure Siberian (hypoallergenic) but, although I had allergy shots for 5 years, I am still really reacting to the cat dander and we are therefore rehoming him. He has grown up with other dogs in the house. He is fearless and plays with them. We don't know how he is with other cats. He is very cuddly - loves to be petted and sit on your lap. When he has had enough, he will let you know and move on. He also loves to give cuddles to anyone who walks by our house or who comes to the door. He uses a cat flap and spends a lot of time outside. He does get leaves stuck in his coat and we have groomed him twice (short cut). If not outside or on a lap, he can be found curled up in different locations around the house. He has been seen by the vet every year for his check up and has been in good health. We have no young kids around the house, so don't know how he is around babies/toddlers.

She was living with her littermates on the street in a high danger zone. We couldn't leave them there, so our volunteer took all of them in to give them a chance at life. Amaretto is a shy girl, it will take her a while to warm up to her humans, but once she does, you have a friend for life. We know she appreciates having been rescued and wants to trust people so badly but it just takes her a little time. She could easily join a home with another cat or cat savvy dog. She is particularly fond of one of her siblings. So if you are interested in adopting a pair, please look at Kahlua's bio as well. They do not need to be adopted together, but if interested in two kitties, they would be a great duo. Because of her initial shyness, we would be open to a foster-to-adopt program with her. If you think she might be the one for you but want to do a trial period to make sure, we can arrange that. She loves her cat tree and soft beds in her foster home. And she is very treat motivated, so that would be a fast track to bonding with her. She just needs a forever person or family to give her a chance. We got a call that a kitty and her little ones were living in some bushes in an apartment complex and were in desperate need of rescue. Our volunteers sprang into action and were able to get Shell and her babies to safety. After a trip to the vet and given the all clear, we placed them into one of our loving foster homes. All of the kittens have been adopted and now it is Shell's turn She has the sweetest personality. She has been so gentle to all the humans that have helped her, its like she knows she's been given a second chance at life. She doesn't have to worry where her next meal is coming from. She gets to nap all day and get lots of kisses and cuddles from her foster home. She has just discovered toys and is starting to play. Poor girl hasn't had a chance to be a kitten herself, well now is the time. She would love to have a cat tree in her forever home. Yummy treats and a water fountain.
