We have several litters of kittens to chose from- all colors- Tabby, Black/White, Orange ETC. Many are yet to be listed. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. We've been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Meet Blue! This handsome hunk is a totally easy-going, friendly, affectionate lovebug! He’s extra special because he had a surgery that you can read about below. He’s currently residing with our friends at Dry Creek Veterinary Hospital in Roseville so you’re welcome to contact us or them if you are interested in learning more about Blue! He’s only 6 years old, perfectly well mannered  and would be an awesome companion cat to someone! He had a perineal urethrostomy surgery and will likely need to be on special urinary crystal food, but you can talk to his veterinarian foster mom about that. It is a very manageable condition & the surgery will likely be a lifetime success. Read about it here: Male cats develop urinary obstructions much more readily than female cats due to differences in urinary tract anatomy between the two sexes. While the female urethra is relatively short and maintains a consistent diameter as it travels from the bladder to its external opening, the male urethra is slightly longer and, more importantly, it narrows as it enters the penis. This narrowing of the urethra predisposes males to urinary obstructions in which the urethra becomes blocked by stones, blood clots, mucus, or tumors. A perineal urethrostomy creates a new urinary opening that decreases the length of the urethra and allows urine to bypass this narrowed region. This surgery can decrease the likelihood of recurring obstruction. Harvey is a mature 10 year old tabby looking for a calm place to call home. Harvey spent some of his early years on the streets but has since been rescued and loves being inside and with his family. Harvey enjoys playing with toys as well as sitting with his “person” and being loved. He is adaptable and knows how to follow the rules of his home. He gets along with “the ladies” but not so much with male cats. Earlier in his life he was exposed to dogs and doesn’t like them very much. Harvey is neutered, flea and parasite free, is FIV positive and did have dental surgery to remove most of his teeth. Don’t let the lack of teeth fool you, Harvey is able to eat both types of food and loves treats. Harvey is a sweet boy who just wants to be loved. If you are looking for a companion, Harvey would love to find his forever home.
