Story
Smokey is a 3 year old, grey-point male. He is an indoor cat and will only be placed in home where he remains as such. I took him in two years ago in Iowa from a family friend that could no longer care for him. Unfortunately, Smokey has become very aggressive towards our other cat and after trying countless interventions, it's clear that he needs to be the only cat in the home. Smokey is, in my opinion, just perfect. He's very high energy and very curious. He needs an owner willing to play with him multiple times a day, as well as plenty of mental stimulation when left alone. He enjoys looking out the window, climbing scratching posts, cuddling, and playing fetch. Recently, we started clicker training (which he loves) and have learned a couple commands. I love him a lot and want to find a good home. While Smokey cannot live with other cats, he could live with a dog - as he did in the past.

Story
Zahdh is a fun-loving adventurous 7yo cat who enjoys long walks outdoors on a leash or unleashed (with a bit of training and patience!). He has been living indoors for the past few years since one of his brothers was hit by a car several years ago, but still has a distinct drive for the outdoors. He still does well indoors, sleeping/relaxing most of the day with bursts of playful energy, chasing his siblings, running through tubes, and climbing cat trees. He is a very snuggly creature who will sleep in bed with you throughout the night. He has been living with a sibling cat, Uul, for the last 4 years and is very friendly toward him - I am looking to rehome Uul as well, but they do not necessarily need to go to the same home. The best fit for Zahdh would be someone who can shower him with love and attention and take him outdoors frequently via (un)leashed walks in the neighborhood, some independent indoor/outdoor privileges (e.g. cat door), or on camping trips.

Story
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, he needs a more active home. His personality needs more than we can give. We adopted Smaug back in April 2023 with another black cat from a different foster home. They warmed up quickly and get along well. Unfortunately, our lifestyle doesn't seem to do well for him as he is a very engaged cat. He loves attention and will let you know when he wants to play or lay on the couch or bed with you, even when you are in a meeting or busy. Smaug loves to play, but also lets you know when it is relax time in the evening so he can lay on the couch with you. He enjoys looking outdoors and playing with a variety of toys with his human. We can provide a single cat carrier, toys, and a walking harness. We will drive him to you (LA area).

Story
Hi my name is Vader, I am a neutered male, less than 2 years young. I was rescued after a nice Noah’s Bark volunteer heard that me and my siblings were on our way to get dumped in the canyons to be coyote food. My siblings have all been adopted. Now it is my turn to find a furever home. I love playing, I like toys like small stuffed mice and small soccer balls. I have medium length fur with some extra poof near my tail. I am very sweet but take a little while to warm up to new people. I am used to being in a busy home with other cats and dogs, I love being around my cat friends and like sleeping in quiet corners of the house. I also love to sit at the top of the cat tree and observe my surroundings. I would do best in a home with another cat to hang out with. I am ready for a home of my own where I will be loved forever. Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. You can find the application at: https://noahs-bark.org/adoption-application. We will arrange a meet and greet with the pet with approved applications only. Please note, an approved adoption application and meet and greet does not guarantee you will be selected to adopt the pup. We do not show our dogs any other time. Please follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Noahsbarkdogrescuela.All donations to Noah's Bark are secure and tax deductible. Give a tax-deductible gift to Noah's Bark at bit.ly/NBDonate. Noah's Bark is an all-volunteer organization, 100% of your donation goes directly toward the care of the animals in our rescue.

Story
Meet Harper. Good with other siblings in foster! Harper was living on the streets with her family when we took them in at apx. 6 weeks old. Both of her fosters love her immensely, but we are a small group trying to fix and re-home many cats. So she changed fosters due to a space issue only. Harper has been thriving in environments with other pets. Currently seeking a permanent place to call her own, Harper is ready to bring joy and companionship to her new family. Personality: Harper is gentle with a timid demeanor initially. However, her affectionate nature shines through once she becomes accustomed to her surroundings. She enjoys relaxing around the house but doesn’t hesitate to approach for some loving pets, especially during TV time. Harper is great at communicating with her adorable baby meow, making sure you know when she’s on her way to snuggle up. Compatibility: She has seamlessly integrated into homes with other cats and even a small dog. Her fosters describe her as the perfect companion for other pets, enjoying playtime and the company of her foster siblings. She has not been around any children of any age yet. While we think she would do great, just an FYI. Favorite Pastimes: Harper is an avid bird watcher. She loves to observe the world from a safe perch, showing great interest in the outdoors from indoors. Health and Wellness: Harper is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations. She is also covered by cat insurance through Lemonade, which can be transferred to the new pet parent along with copies of all her medical records. Harper will be due in three months for her yearly blood panel to establish a baseline. Adoption Details: Let us know if you are in the Los Angeles area and want to meet Harper! Harper is looking for a home where she can continue to feel safe, loved, and given lots of attention. Interested in meeting Harper? Contact us to learn more about how you can make her a part of your family! We do home checks before any foster or adoption takes place and no cat will be adopted out to anyone wanting an outdoor cat. Please ready our story and apply to adopt Harper here https://bloomingculture.com/pages/blooming-cultures-community-cats Blooming Cats
