Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Amy is an intelligent, playful, sun-loving dilute tortoiseshell who knows that she’s a shining star. Like most cats, she can be reserved and shy when she meets new people, but she opens up quickly with wand play sessions and special treats. Her favorite place is a sunny catio or a soft bed with fuzzy blankets. Amy does well with older teenagers, adults, and courteous cats. She has not lived with and is not recommended for a home with a dog. Amy would be happy as a solo pet with an attentive caretaker or to a home with a friendly cat playmate.

He isn’t keen on being carried, but he is food motivated and picks up coaching rapidly. He is incredibly social with cats and would be happiest in a home with a friendly adult or younger kittens. He has experience with dogs and would do best with low energy/potato dogs who are patient. Alfred lives in an adult home, but does well with teenagers.

Story
Barney and Angel are a dynamic duo of bonded brothers who love to trill, chirp, chase down wand toys, and flirt for treats. They were born in the community and brought into Solano Animal Care Services for medical treatment in 2023. They have grown from tiny, sickly, and scared kittens into majestic, striped, himbos that cuddle up at night. The boys haven’t lived with and aren’t recommended for a home with dogs or small children-but they are polite and respectful roommates for older cats. They live with a couple who work full time and happily greet them at the end of their workday with meows and walking biscuits.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Johnny is a resilient survivor who is ready to make his way in the world. After being inadvertently adopted into a neglectful home, his care team has worked diligently to help him feel safe and secure again. Johnny thrives with kittens and young, playful cats. He can often be found leaping in the air for feather toys, flirting for treats, and performing dramatic butt wiggles before pouncing on unsuspecting mouse toys. Johnny would do best with adults or teenagers who respect cat autonomy. Johnny gives consent by asking for butt rubs and giving gentle head boops. He has lived with high energy dogs between 50-80 pounds and finds confidence through play and target training.

Irene Adler-Destiny

Domestic Shorthair

Female, 2 yrs 11 mos
Suisun, CA
Size
(when grown) -
Details
Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Irene is a beautiful, silver tuxedo who is ready for a new home. After being removed from a neglectful home and being denied entry by her previous adopting organization, we stepped in to build her confidence and address her medical needs. Irene has had a full mouth extraction (stomatitis) and has scarring on her eyes that causes light sensitivity and limited vision. Her preferred protein source/flavor for food is salmon and she asks that you avoid chicken because it upsets her stomach. Irene has lived with dogs and cats of all ages and does best with considerate adult cats, calm/potato dogs, and patient humans. She loves treats and excitedly swishes her tail back and forth when she hears the wrapper.
