Story
Found in January 2024 with injuries to his body. After fixing him up we decided to bring him home in hopes to add him to our family. Upon not knowing his temperament we quickly learned he is a love bug who just wants to cuddle all day! He is very scared of dogs and would do best in a cat only home or a home where he can just have a person to love him! Unfortunately the other cats in our home have not been very accepting of him no matter how hard he tries! This old man deserves a home where he can have his person and live out his days. His age is unknown but he is definitely on the older side. He can be shy at first but once he warms up he is the most talkative and friendly guy! We are really hoping to find his forever home! He loves toys and to play but overall he loves having a person and his blanket to snuggle with!

Story
Fiji is a big, sweet baby. He LOVES attention and will demand it throughout the day from whichever human is home to cater to his needs. He's not picky. Fiji is inquisitive and wants to explore everything nothing is safe from his feline investigations. Curiosity often gets the better of him, and he climbs into a cubby or sometimes attempts to fit on a surface, not meant to support a big healthy kitty! Hes also big-time into wrestling with other cats who will humor him or playing with cat toys. Fiji is almost 2 years old, and we hope he's got a nice long life ahead of him thanks to catching his kidney disease nice and early. We can not possibly say enough nice things about this outgoing and interactive, young cat! Fiji continues to be overlooked since he eats a special diet (Kidney Care by Hills), but we know that there is someone out there to adopt this handsome and loving feline Follow us on social media for daily updates! Story
Rise and shine with Bitsy! This sweet, adoptable girl has adjusted so well in her current foster home (and the same can happen in YOUR home, too!). She is a nice orange marmalade girl who is almost two years old. Bitsy is very low maintenance and polite. When she wants attention, you'll know it because she will rub her sweet head and soft coat all over you. She prefers to come to you and likes to sit next to you or cuddle in bed rather than being picked up or carried around. Bitsy would appreciate a quiet household with a human or two who will allow her to sleep in bed with them. She prefers to be up high and definitely wants a room with a view. Other friendly animals of the canine or feline variety are AOK with Bitsy. Her new favorite spot is the back of the couch, where she likes to nap the day away while you're at work. Bitsy starts out a little reserved, but if you go at her pace, and set her up for success, soon you'll have the sweetest lovey dovey marmalade kitty to share your life with! She loves napping in the sun and watching the birds and squirrels in the yard. Follow us on social media for daily updates! Story
Yang is one of the more talented feline vocalists in WCAL's adoption program. They have identified at least 5 distinctly different sounds this adorable kitty can make! Each one is better than the last. Sometimes, it's a simple hello or welcome home, and other times, it's a detailed and poetic bird call. Mostly Yang is asking for more belly rubs or snuggling in closer and expressing gratitude for sharing the covers. While Yang may be considered "shy" around strangers, that's absolutely not the case with her foster family anymore. She'll warm up just fine with our tips & tricks and make a lucky cat lover supremely happy. Yang likes to carry a mouse toy in her mouth and she's always happy for belly rubs.Yang and her sister Yin were found cold and wet in a ditch by a gardener and we weren't sure if they'd both pull through. They have both made a wonderful recovery and are now happy and healthy. They got a lot of TLC from their foster family. They are becoming more confident by the day, but aren't quite ready for a loud and rowdy home with young kids. Older teenagers would be AOK with these kitties. They both make friends easily with other cats in their foster home if you've already got a nice kitty who is ready for a new little sister. Otherwise, Yin & Yang would also make a beautiful pair! Story
This is Yin. She doesn't like to eat alone and is hoping to adopt a nice human to fill her bowl and then standby while she munches! Seriously. Yin may be petite and somewhat demure, but she's not to be underestimated! This young kitty has the skills and the presence to herd you right into the kitchen when it's time for you to keep her company or enjoy a nice meal together. When she isn't crunching her kibbles, Yin makes a nice, cuddly couch companion, and she generally wants to be wherever you are. She likes other cats, too, and hangs out with her sister when all the people have to go to work. Yin is the braver sister, but Yang is making great strides and also loves attention from her foster family.Yin and her sister Yang were found cold and wet in a ditch by a gardener and we weren't sure if they'd both pull through. You could be the lucky one to adopt this handsome tabby boy (and maybe one of his cuddly siblings). He's the perfect cat for a wacky, cat loving person! Power Surge is looking for a home where he can have tons of attention from as many humans as possible. He prefers to always be touching you and seems to have a complete lack of personal space. As he's rubbing all over you, he'll also stare deeply into your soul with his romantic cat eyes. In his foster home, he's known for giving cat baths and even head massages and hair do's! Power Surge is dog friendly and quite photogenic. Follow us on social media for daily updates! View ALL our adoptable pets and apply to adopt on our website: www.WineCountryAnimalLovers.org
