Story
Hello, I am a short-haired Torbie girl who craves love and attention. My mom was a feral and my siblings and I were rescued and socialized after we were born. I am shy and timid at first so please be very patient and once you earn my trust, I'll be your BFF. I'm playful, litterbox trained, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, not a picky eater and will snuggle next to you in bed. My fur is very soft and I LOVE to be brushed. I would thrive in a quiet household preferably with another mellow furry feline. Another possible situation could be in a SAFE garden or barnyard setting as I am strong and love to hunt as long as you provide me with fresh food, water daily and warm and safe place to sleep.

Story
I am a shy, long, svelte Beauty Queen who is curious and will tug on your heartstrings once I get to know you (please, please, please be patient with me). I am as graceful as a gazelle, playful and will plop on your lap or next to you so you can rub my tummy or brush me - ooooh I so love to be brushed! I was rescued from the outdoors as a feral kitten, semi-socialized, spayed and got lots of loving from my foster parents and enjoy life as an indoor kitty. I am used to living in a quiet, low-key household, preferably with a single human to have all to myself and would be best as an only kitty without kids or dogs. For 2 months I was with a very nice, patient family with a special needs young adult with whom I wasn't able to bond with so I was returned to my original foster family. :-(

Story
Brothers, Dougie and Tristan were born at the college of San Mateo. They were older than the other kittens that had been trapped when they were rescued so they took longer to socialize.  Now they are love-bugs who are initially a little shy but not for long. Dougie is the shy brother while Tristan is much more outgoing. Tristan loves pets down his back while Dougie love tummy rubs. They both love to play with ribbons and get treats from your fingers. The boys are a bonded pair so want to stay together. Is yours the family for two wonderful brothers? Please note: Dougie should be adopted with a littermateIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1735056110&src=aap]

Story
Maya was found abandoned at the end of a driveway in Half Moon Bay. She was in a carrier with another cat, 2 beds and bowls but no other information. Maya is about 6 years old and healthy but needed a dental which she came through like a champ! Maya's fur coloring is really unique. One side and her head and tail are beautifully colored in browns, oranges and black. Her other side is pure white. It is as if she was born before the powers that be were finished painting the other half of her body. Maya loves attention. She will let you know when she has had enough. She does like to get petted and holds up her end of a conversation. She loves to garner all the attention so it would be best if Maya was an only kitty in her home. Is your family looking for a beautiful blue-eyed princess to be a companion for your family? Maya is waiting for you. Please note: Maya would do best as an only childIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1735056110&src=aap]

Story
Mom cat (Nellie) was rescued in a mobile home park in Moss Beach. Shortly after, she gave birth to 5 kittens. Unfortunately, one of the kittens did not survive. One of the kittens has been adopted by one of the veterinary clinics and the other 3 kittens have come to CIW. The two little girls (Jo Jo and Bailey) and one little boy (Marley) are sweet, healthy kittens. They have been spayed/neutered, started their vaccinations, Mom tested negative for feline leukemia and feline aids and are microchipped. They love to play and be cuddled. They would be great indoor companions. Are you ready for a new housemate or two?
