Story
Spencer is a handsome brown and white tabby DSH! He's a sweet and friendly boy who loves to cuddle and get scratches behind his ears. Spencer weighs about 14 pounds, so he's a big boy, but don't let his size intimidate you! He's a gentle giant who loves to snuggle and warms up to new people quickly. Spencer would do best in a home with no other cats. His estimated DOB is 10/1/20. Spencer came to the shelter as a stray, so we don't have any background information on him. When he arrived, Spencer tested positive for FIV. NOTE: An FIV+ cat will have the same life span as an FIV negative cat, as long the cat receives proper medical care and attention. FIV is spread amongst cats by direct blood contact (usually through a deep puncture wound). FIV is not transmissible to humans.Spencer has a food allergy and requires special food and daily medications. He does require a medical consult with the HSPC vet prior to leaving shelter. Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

Story
Finn is a senior sweetheart looking for a forever family who understands his special needs. This beautiful grey and white domestic long hair cat is the sweetest . He loves cuddles, and he's very affectionate. Finn will require a medical consultation with our on-site veterinarian before being adopted as he is diabetic and will require daily insulin. Because of his special diet, he will need to be the only cat in the home. Finns estimated DOB is 1/1/2016. If you have been looking to care for an animal with special medical needs, please stop by the shelter and meet sweet Finn! He would love to spend the rest of his life in your care! There is a mandatory consultation with our veterinarian before he can be adopted. Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Story
Daisy is a tabby and white DSH adult cat who was brought to our shelter after being found as a stray. She is very loving cat once she gets to know you. Daisy Mae is not adjusting well to shelter life and is very cautious around people, but once you win her trust she will shower you with affection. What she needs most is someone to give her a loving home where she can be herself and explore around her safe space. Her estimated date of birth is 8/1/2022, and she currently weighs 8 lbs. She does get along well with other cats, but has never been around children or dogs. Do you think you could give this sweet lady a chance to break out of her shell? Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Story
Archie is a loving orange tabby! We got him when he was just a kitten! Sadly, we are facing financial difficulties and we are not able to give him the care and love he needs. He is about around 6-7 years old. He is litter box trained and has been around a toddler, cats and dogs. He does love to have his own space and perch by the window and loves to play with cat toys. He is a big cuddle bug and loves to be pet! Archie is looking for his forever home with someone to give him lots of love and attention. He does need to be brushed once a week and we do take him to annual vet appointments.
