Spencer is a handsome brown and white tabby DSH! He's a sweet and friendly boy who loves to cuddle and get scratches behind his ears. Spencer weighs about 14 pounds, so he's a big boy, but don't let his size intimidate you! He's a gentle giant who loves to snuggle and warms up to new people quickly. Spencer would do best in a home with no other cats. His estimated DOB is 10/1/20. Spencer came to the shelter as a stray, so we don't have any background information on him. When he arrived, Spencer tested positive for FIV. NOTE: An FIV+ cat will have the same life span as an FIV negative cat, as long the cat receives proper medical care and attention. FIV is spread amongst cats by direct blood contact (usually through a deep puncture wound). FIV is not transmissible to humans.Spencer has a food allergy and requires special food and daily medications. He does require a medical consult with the HSPC vet prior to leaving shelter.Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. He loves cuddles, and he's very affectionate. Finn will require a medical consultation with our on-site veterinarian before being adopted as he is diabetic and will require daily insulin.
