Peter is a huge sweetie, and I do mean huge. He's an armful of cat. He was given to us by an elderly relative that had him as an outside cat and couldn't care for him anymore. We've had him outside for years with all his shots up to date but tried moving him inside recently when bird flu started killing outside cats. At first it went great! He's super affectionate, loves to be held in your lap while you read or work on the computer and is very playful. He had no problem adjusting to the litter box and used a fully enclosed cat box with a swing door. He isn't bothered by our smedium sized dog. However, despite being very slow in their introduction the other 3 cats just did not mesh with him. Since the other 3 are well bonded, they gang up on him and hunt him around the house. He doesn't start fights, but will fight if cornered. After 4 months he was going crazy stuck in one room so we let him back outside. He would have been fine if he'd had the whole house to run in.

Beyonce was born to a stray in a coworker's house. We adopted her at six months, and she turned 3 in January. Beyonce is a timid, sweet, and loving cat. All she wants in this world is a few cat treats and some butt scritches. Give her those things and she'll love you unconditionally. Beyonce does very well as an only cat. But she has had a brother for almost almost a year now and they get on great. The ideal home for Beyonce would have other cats or dogs that aren't too loud (she hates loud noises). She loves to go outside on a harness, but she fights the harness every time. Once we're out there she can't stop exploring. And she is an expert mouser. Beyonce has a habit of loving on her people in the early mornings and late evenings. She prefers to sleep under your bed, but will come sleep on top of you if she gets lonely. If you sleep on your side, she'll curl up on your hip.
