Story
Martin and Nala are a bonded pair and have to be hones together. I rescued them at 5 weeks old at the beginning of COVID starting, so they are shy when meeting new people at first. But once they get to know people they sit in your lap and are extremely loving. I’ve been diagnosed with multiple chronic health issues since 2022, and I cannot afford to keep all of my pets as much as I have tried. Due to health issues I’ve lost my job, and I’m getting surgery in one month.

Story
Jasper is a cute chonk with many quirks. Tabby/tux. Over 1 year old, UTD on everything. He loves to play! He likes to chase lights and balls-- he plays fetch which is adorable! He is so soft and gives the best hugs. Sadly, he wants to play with our sassy older cat and after a year of cohabitation, they still do not seem to be getting along. He cohabitates with our gentle giant dog just fine, but when strangers or other dogs come to the house he seems to get scared and hide. I think it will just take time for him to warm up to new animals. I have not seen him scratch inappropriately, but he will accidentally jump in the toilet if you do not have the lid down! He talks sometimes. He lays on his back a lot which is so cute! He displays petting aggression at times when you pet him and that is why I am not sure he would be good for young kids. However, he would love a home that has more time to play with him! Please contact me about this sweet boy.

Story
Luna & Boo are the best chonky sisters you will ever meet. Luna is a little more shy and may take a little longer than Boo to open up and become your bff, but she will not disappoint when it is time to sit with her humans and chill. These girls must be adopted together. All of our rescues are FeLV/FIV tested, given age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped! Our adoption fee is $125 no matter age or breed. Visit Alabama's only nonprofit cat lounge, Cattyshack, Inc. Thursday-Saturday! Reservations required! cattyshackhsv.org @cattyshackhsv #rescueloungeadopt

Story
Cherry has some very unique coloring, as seen in the pictures. She is a beautiful, sweet little girl who enjoys playing with toy mice, chasing her foster siblings around, and snuggling up to the adult cats and people in her foster home. She enjoys cleaning Mary Shelley and Octavia E Butler, as apparently they are never clean enough for her. Cherry also chases her foster brother, Ram, around and loves jumping on him. Cherry is quite a character as she jumps, pounces, and flips. She begs for wet food, and enjoys all treats, especially if it involves anything like Churu or cheese. Cherry can be very talkative, and loves to lick hands when she thinks she deserves attention. Cherry will meow for her person if she is alone. Cherry needs a home with another cat. In fact, we will NOT adopt a single kitten into a home with no other cats unless it states in their listing that they are not good with cats and need to be an only cat. We prefer our little kittens are adopted in pairs or at least have another cat in the home to bond with. Reservations required! cattyshackhsv.org @cattyshackhsv #rescueloungeadopt Available for adoption after June 25th, but if you live in or around Huntsville, AL, ask about our foster-to-adopt program in the "additional comments" section on the application!
