Story
Milo (formerly Delilah, long story) is a ≈ 6-7 year old male cat. He is very sweet but needs more attention than we are able to give him with a toddler in the home. He is good with kids, and loves to snuggle and be pet. We rescued Milo in 2019 after he was dumped and living outside. He has been through a lot and needs someone that can give him their full attention and love, which we are unable to provide anymore. He is very adaptive and good with other animals. You will often find him curling up on soft blankets and warm spots and loves to sleep in the bed with his humans. We are heartbroken but know he deserves a home where he can be the sole baby. He is a great cat - sweet and docile, and will make a great addition to your home. He has his initial shots but we have not updated them since we moved last year. We are asking an adoption fee to make sure he is well taken care of but also taking shots into consideration. Please let me know if you have any questions about this sweet boy.

This sweet boy was found in the woods by my house. He gets along well with my cats and dachshund. He enjoys bird watching, playing with toys and napping in the sunshine. He is a little shy at first but warms up fast.

Story
Hey there, I'm Harlem! 😺 I’m an 11-week-old kitten with a whole lot of personality packed into this little body! I’m full of energy, curiosity, and, of course, adorable kitten cuteness. I’m always ready to play—whether it’s chasing toys, pouncing on shadows, or exploring new spots around the house. But when it’s time to relax, I’ll happily curl up in your lap and purr myself to sleep. 😴 I haven’t been neutered yet, but don’t worry! My adoption fee of $90 covers the cost of that, plus my vaccines, so I’ll be all set to head to my new home healthy and happy. 🐾 Ready to meet me and see if we’re a purrfect match? Call the shelter at 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment. I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventure together!

Story
She's our current longest resident. She's been here since Oct 1st. Meet Jade, a true mother at heart. She's 1 ½ yrs old. This sweet, gentle girl came to the shelter with her own young kittens, but her nurturing instincts didn’t stop there. She took in two orphaned kittens, just a little younger than her own, and lovingly cared for them as her own. When her kittens were ready to wean, Jade didn’t hesitate to raise another set of orphaned babies, giving them the love and care they needed to thrive. Now that her mothering days are behind her, Jade is ready to find a home of her own. She’s spayed and up-to-date on her vaccines. Jade is a kind, compassionate soul who deserves a family to call her own after all the love she’s given to others. Her adoption fee is just $90. If you’re ready to welcome this loving girl into your home, please call to schedule an appointment 256 362 5856. Jade can’t wait to meet you!

In need of a good home, we can no longer afford to take care of him, he is a sweet cat and is used to being indoors ONLY. He gets along well with two dogs but has never lived with any other cats. Is a sweet boy over all.

Story
We adopted Becky last year through petsense. We have two cats that continually attack her and we don’t know why. We tried to work with the local shelter who was in charge of her adoption and they basically said too bad. She’s yours. And she deserves a more peaceful home.
