Story
Alfie is an 8-year-old sweet, silly boy with a big heart. He has a ton of energy and life in him. He loves toys, walks, and especially chasing water from the hose.He does well with dogs in public and is good with cats and kids, but he’s overwhelmed in a multi-dog home and would do best as the only pet or with just one other dog. He’s very loving and wants to bond with his person.Alfie may develop hip issues in the future, so he’ll need a committed adopter.

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Group of 4 dogs consisting of 3 littermates and 1 single dog transferred from Littlefield Pet Haven in Texas. The group had originally been pulled from a euthanasia list at the last minute, however the individual who rescued them unexpectedly passed away, leaving the dogs in the care of an elderly couple who ultimately felt unable to continue their care. All dogs were spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines at the time of intake. From the foster: My bio is coming soon! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Came with the name "Jupiter". From the foster: Janie has a happy tail that can almost wag her off the ground. LOL ! She is the calmest 2 year old I have ever met. She loves people & she will follow you everywhere. She has the funniest wiggle when she gets excited when she walks or runs. Totally house trained, and Knows some of her manners, like sit & down. 100% food motivated. She likes to be as close as possible to her humans. She loves all people, just give her 30 seconds to warm up to you. She loves other dogs of all sizes. She adores kids from 6 on up. I don’t know about toddlers. She adores my 12 year old niece. She does well on a leash & she comes when called. She loves attention & being petted. She’s beautiful with all her markings. My 13 year old chihuahua loves her. I love her, she would be such an easy foster fail, but no I won’t do that. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Lux was born July 2017. I adopted him when he was 4 months old. He's good with kids and new people. He's such a lover and loves butt scratch's. He's house trained loves to go on car rides and does well at the dogs parks too. His one downfall is the guy loves the trash. For whatever reason anytime he gets his chance he will rummage through the trash. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Unfortunately I've had a schedule change and I am not home as often as I need to be therefore he has been acting up for attention and it's just not fair to him. He has a brother and a sisters he's more bonded to his sister, but I think would do fine if separated.

Story
This friendly, playful boy is full of fun and always ready for a good toy session. He’d thrive with an active owner who can provide daily exercise and basic training to help him shine. Because he has shown food-guarding in a prior home, he’ll need an experienced owner and older kids, with meals given in a separate, quiet space where he won’t be disturbed. He does well with other dogs outside of mealtimes, but if managing dog-to-dog resource guarding isn’t the right fit, he’d also be happy as your one-and-only. With structure, activity, and love, he’ll make a wonderful companion.
