The following is a description of Hubert from his foster mom. Because, honestly who knows a pup better than the foster family! Hubert was found alone and scared on the interstate in Mississippi. When a nice lady stopped for him, he ran right to her. His foster family has had him vetted and neutered, and now they are treating his heartworms.  Hubert is about two years old. He is super cuddly, housebroken, crate-trained, and such a smart boy! He knows sit, stay, and down, and he will run to his crate and sit when you tell him to go to bed. He loves people and his toys, but he wants to chase the cat, and he is too high energy for the grumpy, elderly dogs in the home. So once Hubert has completed his heartworm treatment and is back to his active self, he hopes to have a forever home waiting for him. Senior momma Jolene is still looking for a place to live out her golden years! Hello my name is Jolene. I'm a 7-8 yr old Cane Corso mix. (Rhino's mother) I've hadn't had the best start to life so will need someone dedicated to show me how good life can be. I get nervous when meeting new people. It takes me a few days to trust. A calm environment would be best for me but once I open up the ladies here say I'm extremely friendly and loving! I am dog friendly and when it comes to cats I pay no mind whenever I go for a walk I have no interest. I am housetrained and walk well on leash. I'm around 80 pds. I'm spayed and up to date on all my vaccines and preventions. Unfortunately I am heartworm positive and have already started my treatments. Hi I'm Lucy I'm a 6-year-old boxer Corso mix but my foster family calls me Mama! I sure do love my foster family and my foster mom says I'm an attention hog which makes her believe that I would do well as the only dog. But don't get that confused I love my fur Foster siblings we get along great!! I'm still learning how to play with other dogs. They have taught me a lot. I do okay with young kids but my foster mom believes I would do better in a home with older kids who can play with me and be calm when needed. I'm heartworm positive but please don't let that stop you from adopting me we are treating my heartworms! I could use some manner training and leash training but other than that my foster family thinks I'm a pretty good girl and have a lots of love and wiggly butt to give someone please consider adopting me.
