Story
Kane is a super sweet boy that LOVES attention! He turned two in November. He is a heavy chewer but with the right toys and attention he is good with not chewing on your house and furniture. He needs a big yard to play in and someone that is home enough to work with him on training and just give him lots of love. He is great with kids and is not aggressive towards new people he meets. He is leash aggressive meaning if you put him on a leash he goes into protective mode. he is dog aggressive. I think he would be fine if you brought in a new animal and introduced him when they are a baby. He is a protective breed so he does bark at any outside noises to let you know someone is outside. He loves to play tug-a-war and fetch. He loves to cuddle up on the couch next to you or will lay on the bed at the bottom of your feet at night until he gets too hot and moves to the floor. he will follow you around the house, wants to be by your side at all times. He is kennel trained.

Story
Misha is a 5 year old female cane Corso, pure bred. We got her from a breeder in Vancouver Washington when she was 8 weeks old. She is a wonderful dog, great with cats and loves other dogs. She loves snuggles and laying by the fire. She is very low energy, enjoys walks. We did get Misha in the middle of the pandemic in March 2020, Misha is a “pandemic dog” meaning she wasn’t properly socialized in puppyhood. She is generally suspicious of strangers at first but she does warm up and welcome strangers as long as they give her proper space for her to feel comfortable. She requires a gentle introduction, people cannot be in her space too fast, she likes to observe and sniff first. Once she is comfortable with you she is a complete teddy bear. She loves to give “blessings” by putting her paw on you to initiate pets. Misha is fully house trained, non destructive, and kennel trained. She has been raised with children of all ages. She is a big girl so give caution to her size with littles.

Story
Meet Rocket Silky Snugglepaws! He is currently 10 weeks old, 20 pounds, and we think he may be a Cane Corso/Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Rocket's video here: This gentle not-quite-giant of a pup will win your heart with his expressive eyes and delicate nature. His soft and silky black coat and waggy tail is just the icing on the cake. Rocket exudes a gentleness that belies his size, and shows off his kind and affectionate personality. This pup is ready to be someone's loyal buddy, ready for snuggles and adventure both at a moment's notice (although he definitely leans more towards cuddles, lol). Rocket is always up for whatever you want to do, whether it's playing outside, going for walks, or snuggling on the couch. He does still believe that he is a lap dog, and our motto is "if he sits, he fits", so we endorse this wholeheartedly! Rocket is currently in a loving foster home with his brother Ratatouille, and loves to play with him and then take lots of naps - the best puppy life! Rocket has been around teenagers and older kids and does well around them, enjoying all their attention and affection and responding with gentle kindness and lots of licks. He is already crate-trained and mostly potty-trained (he's approaching perfection). Rocket is already living his best puppy life - all he needs now is YOU! Rocket is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Rocket's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6798f818c2c40f6aaa092e95 Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
This is a courtesy post. Please contact Kara directly at the number or email below. Brinks is a 2yr old Cane Corso. He enjoys snuggling, and being as close to his people as he can be. When he is happy He wiggles his whole body from his short tail all the way to his grinning smile. He is a little shy for the first few minutes of meeting new people, but opens up quickly and then begs for lovins. He is a typical adolescent mastiff, and although he is happy to lounge around, he does get the zoomies and would do best with a larger yard to romp and play. He walks okay on a leash but hasn’t fully learned exactly where to be and will pull or zig-zag on a walk. He will need someone patient and knowledgeable on the basics of training to help him learn how to walk better on a leash, and understand basic commands. He is very treat motivated, so he is ready to learn! He does not jump up on people, and isn’t a big barker. He has gotten along well with other like minded female dogs. We have not introduced him to cats. A new home should have no livestock and must have a fenced yard. Please contact Kara via call or text for more questions (509) 260-1366 Karathegroomer@gmail.com Brinks is scheduled for a neuter soon

Story
Hi there, I’m Ruby! I’m a playful pup with a big heart and four weeks of professional training under my collar. I’ve learned my manners (even though sometimes I get a little too excited and play rough so supervision and FIRM correction is a must! What can I say? I'm not even 2 yet.) It'd be great if you'd help me keep my skills in tip-top shape as they're very important to me. I’m crate trained and will let you know when I need to go out—no accidents on my watch! I’m looking for a person who’s as strong-willed as I am and knows a thing or two (okay...maybe 10!) about handling an energetic, sometimes stubborn, power pup like me. Boredom isn't something I'm into, and all of this energy gets me into trouble, so lots of time to burn it is more of a necessity than an option. I have learned so many great commands like sit, down, stay and do great pack walks. I have worked on my impulse control immensely. I aim to please and bond with my person. I'm great with older kids, though younger one's (say...preteens and below) aren't always my best friends. I need structure, and sometimes I need space, so someone who understands that would be ideal. I do like other dogs as long as they're strong and pack-oriented like me, but cats...well, we don't exactly get along. I love getting my daily exercise and would make the perfect partner for someone who enjoys staying active (and those car rides...let's just say I'll be the one with the floppy tongue in the back window!). My favorite way to show affection? Laying my head in your lap or keeping a close watch over you—I’ve got a protective side too! My story started in Rosharon, where I was chasing after a truck, hoping for a friend. The kind people in the truck gave me some food but couldn’t keep me. Thankfully, my foster mom (who works closely with 3LP! ) saved me without even meeting me first. I was so lonely that I wasn't the happiest pup at first, but she showed me so much love and patience that I'm finally ready for a forever family. Sure; it's been a journey figuring out where my piece of the puzzle fits, but I think I'm getting close to finding it. If you’re ready for a loyal, athletic companion who’ll be by your side through all your adventures, I’m your girl. I can’t wait to meet you! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing constant updates throughout their transport journey! You will indeed get to meet your new pup over a Facetime call before signing paperwork. It is fun and special! Chanel is a gorgeous, sweet dog that was given a rough start in life. She loves going for rides in trucks, playing in the yard, and most of all, snuggling on the couch. All she wants is affection and stability. She loves every person she meets, big or small. She has become the official greeter of our business! We would love to keep Chanel but unfortunately due to her previous home situation, she cannot be around other dogs or cats. We took her in during an emergency but have to prioritize the animals we already have. She deserves the best home in the world and I’m set on finding it for her.
