He’s an absolute love bug who knows all the basic commands, walks perfectly on a leash, and follows direction, even around other dogs. He is very smart, and learns quickly. He enjoys soaking up the sunshine and bird-watching. He’ll happily let you know he’s a protective guardian of his home with a strong “awoo”—but don’t worry, a treat will always win him over! This sweet boy loves car rides and watching the world go by, but he’s also content to just hang out with his people. Onyx would do best with access to a yard to stretch his legs, and he’d prefer a home where he’s not left alone too often. He is house broken and knows commands like sit, down, paw, upstairs, downstairs, water, drink, eat, backup, gentle, and can halfway rollover if you ask him. All these innocent animals were suffering and starving! HRA got there just in time to save them and nurse them all back to health. Celeste is recovering and determined to get through this very rough patch. Her pups are all adopted so now it’s her turn! Celeste is a beautiful but bashful gal whose confidence was a bit shaken by this ordeal. Slowly we are seeing all her troubles melt away and she now wants to be close to us and get gentle pettings. And does she love snacks! She sees us coming with tasty treats and she starts to wiggle that butt and she practically smiles!
