Story
If you would like more information about Koda or are interested in adopting him, please send an email to tynajethomas11@gmail.com Koda is a 3 year old pure bred Cane Corso. He’s up to date on all vaccines, no health problems, and he’s about 101 pounds. I’ve had him since he was 12 weeks old. He’s been with me and my other dog since then. He’s a great dog, very well trained. He is house trained, crate trained, and place trained. He knows hand signs, and German for certain commands. About a year ago, he had a traumatic incident at the vet and became very insecure and lost confidence after that. I’ve been working with him in all areas to ensure he’s a well-rounded confident dog. He has fear and food aggression. He’s bitten me and growled at others for being around his food and petting him in certain instances. He resource guards food and that’s the big aggressor for him that gets him to lash out and bite. I’ve sent Koda to a two-week board and train and learned much about how I can be the best owner for him. I’ve changed myself and my habits to make sure I’m fulfilling him whether that be more exercise, more training, and corrections. I’ve noticed a huge positive shift in him. He’s more confident and less insecure with touch and meeting people and being in all types of environments. I was even able to have a sitter with him for a few days when I had to leave for a work trip. However, he is still struggling with food aggression. Koda is genuinely a great dog, and this breaks my heart because I’ve tried and tried to do everything to help. He requires someone who has calm, strong leadership and doesn’t back down. He needs someone who can work consistently in these areas for him. Because of the food aggression, I wouldn’t recommend him to be placed with kids. Koda loves to run and play fetch. He is a natural protector, which is a beautiful thing. Story
If you would like more information about Beefcake or are interested in adopting him, please send an email to wang.aliceh@gmail.com or contact this number, (832) 434 7882 Beefcake is a master of disguise – we’ve come to learn that he’s actually a Golden Retriever stuck in his big boy Pittie/Cane Corso body. He’s ~1 yr old, 55 lbs (maybe has 5-10 more lbs to gain), and is an absolute goofball. He plays wonderfully with other dogs and loves to play tag and wrestle but is also respectful of dogs that may not be interested in playing. If there aren’t any dogs to play with, he also enjoys a game of tug or fetch with his foster humans! He would love to have a doggie sibling (especially one that loves to play with him) but would also be just fine as a solo pup. If you’re looking for a weighted blanket, look no further. In the house, Beefcake transforms into a loaf and his preferred cuddle position is directly on top of you. He’ll never say no to a movie night, but he has no preference on genre so it’s your pick every night! He’s very quiet and isn’t bothered by outside noises / sights (e.g., lawnmowers, garbage trucks, passing dogs, etc.) so he makes for a great working-from-home partner too. He’s up to date on all vaccines, neutered, house trained, and crate trained. He loves to learn – he knows how to sit, walks well on a leash (except when he sees a squirrel), working on his place command, and is generally keen to learn new things. Other things to know: - He has a high prey drive, especially for squirrels. We’re working on this every day and he’s improving, but his new family should be prepared to help him continue working through this to ensure walks are enjoyable for everyone. - He’s interested in the neighborhood outdoor cats and has politely met one that was laying down. However, with his prey drive, he may be better in a home without cats. - He hasn’t had the opportunity to meet children directly, but he has walked past them in close proximity / watched them at the Farmer’s Market and at the park and didn’t seem bothered or overly interested. We think he’d be okay in a home with kids but it would be best if they’re older given his size and energy levels. Beefcake is located in Houston, TX but can be transported out of state. Story
Bentley is a sweet boy and has gone through puppy training obedience training and know several commands besides sit stay and place. He walks well and is potty trained Can speak on command and is already a natural protector. As much as I’d love for him to be in our life we just cannot financially support him and his training needs. The one and only big issue this boy has is resource guarding. We have gone through training and at this point we cannot continue. Would prefer to find him a new home than weigh out the other options.

Story
I got Nova when she was 12 weeks old and she is now 3 and a half, she is energetic, protective and loving. she is crate trained as well as house trained, she is a free roaming dog. except at night where she sleeps in his crate, but she does love snuggles. sHe is a giant baby and is not aggressive at all. Nova is great with kids as I have 4 kids, ages ranging 7-14. I love her and my family adores her, however my sister passed away recently and I took in my nephew, but he is severely allergic so I am in desperate need to find her a good loving home. SHe needs an owner with time and space as she loves to be free and active.
