Story
Hi my name is Penny and I am looking for my forever home. I am almost 4 years old and I am Cane Corso/ catahoula mix. My birthday is in September and I am caught up on my shots, spayed and potty/ house trained. I love to go on walks, I am very playful and not food aggressive. I can sit, shake, roll over and fetch my toys. Unfortunately, my kids no longer have time to play with me as much and am left alone throughout the day and a lot of evenings with their busy schedules. Please help me find my new loving home.

Story
This big boy was rescued mere hours before euthanization. He was set to be put down because he is heart worm positive, not because of any behavioral issues. Atlas is halfway through his treatment and needs somewhere to finish his healing journey. He's a big boy, but he's tried to be gentle. He's got some pup puppy energy that is easily directed to toys! This boy can chew on a ball all day long. Need a work out partner to tug the other end of your rope? Atlas is your guy. He's also content with midday napping! Cane corso breeds have a natural guarding instinct that should be noted. He is not aggressive but his breed type keeps him alert. He seems to do well with every dog he meets! He also seems to enjoy the company of children, although he's still learning his size. Once heartworm free, we also think he could be a prospect for personal protection training!

These pups are in Cedar Park, Texas too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Zira!  My foster mom has a fondness for nicknames so I’m also referred to as Miss Z and Z-girl!  I’m told I’m an Anatolian Shepherd mix, and was born around Jan. 2024.  I’m a super sweet girl and  I love people! My whole body wags when I see people and anticipate  getting pets from them!  I learn pretty quickly and am food motivated. Currently my favorite things are walks, hanging out in the backyard chewing on sticks, pine cones, and my squeaky toys, and going on adventures with my foster family.  I’ve been camping and hiking and I do great at both.  I sleep quietly in my foster families camper without a peep.  I get along with other dogs, like to play, and am fine with cats.  I’m crate trained, walk well on a leash, and am potty trained.  My ideal home would have another medium to large size playful dog to help mentor and integrate me into my new environment.  OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES THAT HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEDIUM TO LARGE YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOG. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 2) These puppies can be livestock dogs to farms and homesteads experienced in training LGDs. They also must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. 3) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone must also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8+ hours a day. 4) We give preference to applicants with prior Great Pyrenees knowledge/experience. 5) Secure and visible fencing required. 6) You must have a plan in place to socialize your puppy properly. Adoption Fee: $375 All of our puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6. Transport Fee: Transport fee has been sponsored by Zira's foster family. All of our puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 6, 2024, 11:11 am
