Story
Halo is a very sweet dog. She loves our kids and us and when she gets excited her little tail starts wagging. She will bark when unkown people come to door. She likes to chase cats but hasn't hurt one. She gets along with our other dogs, but at times becomes territorial over her food and toys when my other dogs are nearby. I can no longer keep her and my English Mastiff together at any time. She cannot be allowed around chickens and or small indoor pets such as guinea pigs. She should be the only dog in a house due to uncertainty around other animals. If she was my only dog I would keep her as she is such a sweet dog to us, but unfortunately I can't keep her and my English Mastiff together. She is still in-tact because I cannot afford to get her spayed due to an economic hardship during the last year.

Story
Hi there, I’m Ruby! I’m a playful pup with a big heart and four weeks of professional training under my collar. I’ve learned my manners (even though sometimes I get a little too excited and play rough so supervision and FIRM correction is a must! What can I say? I'm not even 2 yet.) It'd be great if you'd help me keep my skills in tip-top shape as they're very important to me. I’m crate trained and will let you know when I need to go out—no accidents on my watch! I’m looking for a person who’s as strong-willed as I am and knows a thing or two (okay...maybe 10!) about handling an energetic, sometimes stubborn, power pup like me. Boredom isn't something I'm into, and all of this energy gets me into trouble, so lots of time to burn it is more of a necessity than an option. I have learned so many great commands like sit, down, stay and do great pack walks. I have worked on my impulse control immensely. I aim to please and bond with my person. I'm great with older kids, though younger one's (say...preteens and below) aren't always my best friends. I need structure, and sometimes I need space, so someone who understands that would be ideal. I do like other dogs as long as they're strong and pack-oriented like me, but cats...well, we don't exactly get along. I love getting my daily exercise and would make the perfect partner for someone who enjoys staying active (and those car rides...let's just say I'll be the one with the floppy tongue in the back window!). My favorite way to show affection? Laying my head in your lap or keeping a close watch over you—I’ve got a protective side too! My story started in Rosharon, where I was chasing after a truck, hoping for a friend. The kind people in the truck gave me some food but couldn’t keep me. Thankfully, my foster mom (who works closely with 3LP! ) saved me without even meeting me first. I was so lonely that I wasn't the happiest pup at first, but she showed me so much love and patience that I'm finally ready for a forever family. Sure; it's been a journey figuring out where my piece of the puzzle fits, but I think I'm getting close to finding it. If you’re ready for a loyal, athletic companion who’ll be by your side through all your adventures, I’m your girl. I can’t wait to meet you!
