Meet Olive! She LOVES everyone! Olive has made lots of 2 and 4 legged friends and loves to play with them all. She's young and full of puppy energy! She's about 12 months old and currently weighs about 53lbs. She's looking for an active family with maybe a doggy companion. Olive has a sleek black coat, and loves to play! She's ready to train into the dog of your dreams! Olive had been selected to participate in Del Norte Humane Society's Prison Paws Partnership (PPP)! PPP is a 6-8 week program of training for the selected dogs and their inmate handlers at Pelican Bay State Prison. The prison environment was not a good fit for Olive, she can be a bit protective. She did have several weeks of training, but did not complete the program. Her DNA test revealed she is Cane Corso, American Pit Bull Terrier, Doberman, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Bulldog! Come check out Olive and our other dogs available for adoption at 2650 Washington Blvd, Crescent City, CA 95531. Kennels are open Mon-Fri, 9AM-4PM, or by appointment. Introducing Mia! Picked up as a stray, we are still learning about her. She is all about making her person happy, passed her kid test and rocked the obstacle course with trainer, James. She has unique markings and we believe that she may be related to Olive (same age, markings, play style and they were very excited to see each other). Mia weighs 72 lbs, and appears to be about 1.5 years old. She's a little shy at first, with a sleek black/brown coat. She seems tolerant of some dogs but is selective. Come check out Mia and our other dogs available for adoption at 2650 Washington Blvd, Crescent City, CA 95531. Kennels are open Mon-Fri, 9AM-4PM, or by appointment.
