Story
Meet Timber Boy! Sweet Timber was abandoned at a local Metropark in the pouring rain! He is only about 6 months old and is approximately 35 lbs. We are guessing him to be a Corso mix. Timber has the sweetest personality and is a good mix of playful energy and sleepy, lazy, clumsy puppy! Timber loves all people including children and other dogs and even cats! He can be a lot of for small kids right now, as he is just learning his manners, like learning not to jump and learning not to nip and mouth He is very smart and eager to learn, and is very treat motivated! He is potty trained and crate trained! Timber is very playful, loves his toys and bones and loves playing outside! He is in a foster home with other dogs and cats and loves the interaction! Timber would need an active family or fenced in yard,. Because he is considered a large breed dog, he also needs a family committed to his training so he knows what is and is not acceptable puppy behavior. If you are ready to add this sweet puppy boy to your family, please click on the link below and fill out an application. https://www.coopersafeplace.org/application-page Timber’s adoption fee is $450.00 and due on the day of adoption.

Story
Koda is a 1 year old Cane Corso. He does well with children, but not good with other dogs. He knows the commands sit & come here. He requires attention and patience. He is food aggressive, so can not be bothered when he eats, he also has a slow feeding bowl that will go with him. He is potty trained but doesn't let you know when he needs to potty, so you have to take him out on a regular basis. The foster has him on a schedule. He goes out at 5 am, 2 pm, & again at 7 pm. He goes into his crate without a problem. He is neutered and up to date on shots.

Story
Meet Bean! This sweet 1-2 year old Cane Corso is ready for her forever home! Bean loves to play with balls and snuggle up on the couch. She needs a fenced-in yard and she'd be best as the only dog.  Her loving nature shines through with people and kids (she's been raised around little ones as young as 4!).  Bean is crate and potty trained, fully vaccinated, and both AKC and ICCF registered. She’s not toy or food aggressive and will even bring you her favorite toy for some pets!   Bean will be spayed before adoption, so if you're looking for a playful and cuddly companion, she's the one for you!  Ready to welcome Bean into your home? Story
Rocky is the biggest dog we have at our shelter, and is only a year old! He is very goofy and playful and loves playing with toys. He has a protective side to him and will let you know when someone unfamiliar is around. He has a tendency to chase cars, so he would need a fenced in yard or on leash to go outside. He does very well going outside to potty. He would do best with older children and is good with other animals when introduced properly. We are working on basic commands and leash training. He is the biggest baby and loves being around people!

Story
Looking for a fun, quirky and goofy dog?  Want a tri-pod dog that thinks she’s a gazelle? Well….Kylie is the perfect fit! What a road of recovery this girl has had from a terrible abuse case.  Kylie came to us after having to have her right hind leg removed and need time to heal from that and some other fractures.  After many months of learning how to trust humans again, she slowly began to come out of her shell and learned to interact with humans and her doggie friends. She discovered that she likes to sleep on a soft doggie bed or lounge around on the couch, when she’s not wrestling around with her doggie friends.  She has no awareness that she’s a tri-pod and leaps and wrestles around. Kylie would do best in a home with other doggie friends and with patient humans who will give her the time and space to trust in them.  She tends to favor women over men but can be won over with yummy treats.  Rescue shows us the road to recovery may be long for some dogs, but one look into Kylie’s eyes and you can certainly see her compassion and ability to love again. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   January 7, 2025, 10:17 pm
