She may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she becomes the ultimate cuddle bug, always ready to shower you with love and loyalty. Tinny is dog-friendly and adores her best buddy, Robbie the Rottie. Whether they’re playing together or just hanging out side by side, their bond is truly special. Because she’s a bit timid and still learning to navigate new experiences, a home without young kids would be the best fit for her. She hasn’t met any cats yet, so her feelings on feline friends are still a mystery! If you’re into big dogs, particularly those that think they can fit in your lap, then you need to come and meet Zeus! Zeus is a 10-month-old, 100lb doofus who takes the concept ‘if it fits, I sits’ too seriously. He continuously ignores the memo that his butt is too wide, his legs and body are too long to fit in anyone’s lap. As if that isn’t enough of a fuss, he likes to push himself into you for hugs and affection. He loves his humans. He is very interested in what they are doing. In some cultures, this is known as ‘busybody’. If he doesn’t have a full view of you, he turns and twists his head and body to catch a glimpse of what you are doing. If he feels ignored, he whines for you to acknowledge him. A playful squish in the face goes a long way for this boy. His whines are ridiculous. They sound like a bird’s chirp. Even at 100lb (and growing), Zeus can walk like a dream. However, if he sees something that interests him, he pulls toward it. You’ll feel that 100lb weight. This boy is strong! Zeus is wonderful with dogs and cats. He can be a bit rough when playing, so be careful he doesn’t hurt smaller dogs. Zeus is a Cane Corso. He is looking for a family who likes big dogs that think they are babies. He likes to be included in family activities. Nothing pleases him more than to be where his family is. A home with older children is preferred due to Zeus’ size and strength.

Meet Lacie!! She came in as a stray on 4/8/25. We think she is about a year old. She is a rough and tumble kind of gal. She pulls hard on the leash and she wants to run instead of walk. She is friendly and affectionate and she is very energetic. She will do well with an active family. She is available for adoption so hurry in to meet her! Lacie is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH Phone is 419-774-5892 It is an application process. You can request one via dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov

Rocky is a 4 year old cane Corso shar per mix. He has been with us since he was a puppy. He is house trained and ok on the leash. He is in a house with 2 cats and gets along great and has been around other dogs in homes as well ( we had a sitter when we were on vacations). Recently he has been getting aggressive with our young kids. We no longer feel comfortable with him around the kids with his growing and nipping at them.
