Story
Meet Timber Boy! Sweet Timber was abandoned at a local Metropark in the pouring rain! He is only about 6 months old and is approximately 35 lbs. We are guessing him to be a Corso mix. Timber has the sweetest personality and is a good mix of playful energy and sleepy, lazy, clumsy puppy! Timber loves all people including children and other dogs and even cats! He can be a lot of for small kids right now, as he is just learning his manners, like learning not to jump and learning not to nip and mouth He is very smart and eager to learn, and is very treat motivated! He is potty trained and crate trained! Timber is very playful, loves his toys and bones and loves playing outside! He is in a foster home with other dogs and cats and loves the interaction! Timber would need an active family or fenced in yard,. Because he is considered a large breed dog, he also needs a family committed to his training so he knows what is and is not acceptable puppy behavior. If you are ready to add this sweet puppy boy to your family, please click on the link below and fill out an application. https://www.coopersafeplace.org/application-page Timber’s adoption fee is $450.00 and due on the day of adoption.

Story
Pearl is a very gentle and sweet girl who loves everyone she meets including kids and other dogs. She is also ok with cats, the hissing scares her a bit. She will sit for a treat. Listens well. I think her ideal home would be with someone who works from home because she really just wants to be with her people at all times and is well behaved for whatever is going on. Does well on a leash, loves walks and car rides and belly rubs! Working on house breaking, not doing bad but still needs a little time to improve. Not a fan of being in a cage or locked away from her people but necessary at times if no one is home, you just may need to push her in 😂

Story
Looking for a fun, quirky and goofy dog?  Want a tri-pod dog that thinks she’s a gazelle? Well….Kylie is the perfect fit! What a road of recovery this girl has had from a terrible abuse case.  Kylie came to us after having to have her right hind leg removed and need time to heal from that and some other fractures.  After many months of learning how to trust humans again, she slowly began to come out of her shell and learned to interact with humans and her doggie friends. She discovered that she likes to sleep on a soft doggie bed or lounge around on the couch, when she’s not wrestling around with her doggie friends.  She has no awareness that she’s a tri-pod and leaps and wrestles around. Kylie would do best in a home with other doggie friends and with patient humans who will give her the time and space to trust in them.  She tends to favor women over men but can be won over with yummy treats.  Rescue shows us the road to recovery may be long for some dogs, but one look into Kylie’s eyes and you can certainly see her compassion and ability to love again. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. Story
Mia is about 1 1/2 years old. Very loving and playful. I have a 4 year old and a 6 year old that she plays with all the time. She does forget how big she is sometimes. I’m gone almost all day at work and she doesn’t get into anything. But all stuffed animals are fair game to her lol. She is not good on the leash. I was dog sitting her and ended up having to keep her but she needs a more suitable home where she can get the attention she needs.
