When you are named after one of the brightest stars in the universe, you know you are special :) Bellatrix does not disappoint! Sweet, friendly (people, dogs and cats!) and oh, so affectionate, she checks every box for a Corso. Most days, Bella is content to just hang out with her humans. Lying beside you or parking her body really close to you is her preferred way to 'hang out', but she will take a bed if instructed. Leave her a toy or two, she will pick it up and entertain herself with it. Sometimes, Bella likes to throw her 100lb weight into you for pets and hugs. She even lets you use her butt as a drum to practice some imaginary melodies. For a 100lb pup, Bella walks surprisingly well. Other than the occasional pull because she can't wait to get somewhere, for the most part, she walks leisurely. Bella walks right by barky, unruly friends but does not chime in. She minds her business unless of course, it is a friend she recognizes. She gets excited and wants to approach. Bella has a high tolerance for pups with lack of play etiquette. She lets them jump on her back without as much as a bark. She doesn't reciprocate in unruly plays. You rarely hear Bella bark unless she wants your attention. If she sees you or sees you pet a furry friend, but she is tucked away in a crate, she barks to get your attention. Bella is estimated to be about 4.5 years old, 100lb Cane Corso. She is looking for a home where there is an abundance of hugs and cuddles. time to chill and hang out with her favorite people. A home with older kids is preferred due to Bella's size and love to throw her weight on people for affection.

Meet Bruno! He's is an almost 2 year old Cane Corso and Great Pyrenees mix. He came from an animal shelter. He did a 2 week board and train program. He is good with kids but due to his size and still growing he would do best with 7 and older. He is great with people. He cam be choosy about dog friends but if introduced properly he does fine. He lives with a dog half his size. He does not do well super small dogs. He cannot be in a home with cats or other small critters. Bruno love kids! He knows how to navigate them. He does need a strong and active owner. He is very stubborn. He would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and some room to run. A quiet street would probably be best. He will come with crate, a bag of food, vet records, toys, personalized collar, leash, prong collar, and remaining flea and heart worm medication.

Beli is a beautiful, VERY well trained 4 year old female pitbull cane corso! She is loyal and well-behaved. She walks like an angel - she knows how to heel, sit, down, stay and spot reliably. She knows "no" too. She is crate trained. She is great at going on walks and heals perfectly (no leash pulling!). If you are looking for your next loyal companion - look no further! She loves to cuddle on the couch, sit outside, go for her walk, ride in the car, and chew her bully sticks. She is mellow and loves to hang out with her humans. Beli also loves a good blanket to snuggle under (she will tuck herself in too). We are heartbroken to need to look at rehoming Beli, but she needs to be the only animal in the home. She was adopted with her littermate - and we believe they developed littermate syndrome. If you are ready to welcome an incredible and loving dog into your home, Beli is waiting for you! If you would like to adopt this dog, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays)
