You cannot walk past Zora without stopping and doing a double-take. How did such a magnificent mastiff find her silly, sweet self in a shelter?? Same way all of our wonderful dogs do: their owner simply does not have the time or means to care for them any longer. Zora's owner did right by her though, and wanted a better life for her, so we're hoping to find one for her quickly! She's an 11 month old Cane Corso that is as happy, bubbly, and bumbly as they come! She loves to run and play but she does more of a gallop, as her big feet can't seem to coordinate with the rest of herself! Zora is so well-behaved, great on a leash, she sits and lays down instantly when asked, and she takes whatever you give her gently. She is very puppyish and loves attention, and she's a big leaner, resting herself on your leg while you pet her. In all his regal handsomeness, sweet Bronzi has had the ulti-mutt glow up - but really, he shines brightest when he is with YOU! Bronzi (aka Bron) is a 3 year old Cane corso mix and weighs 80 lbs. Sadly, he was found as a very skinny stray on the streets before ending up at the overcrowded city shelter. He was most likely carelessly abandoned by some backyard breeder. Luckily, a foster stepped up for Bronzi and he has been blossoming with them ever since. This friendly guy obviously didn’t come from a good situation but he sure is enjoying being a dog these days! Thankfully, he achieved a healthy weight and is just so happy and friendly that you would never know he had a ruff start in life. Bron is a wonderful boy who wants to listen to you and make you happy. He is impeccably house-trained and well-mannered in the home. He is very sweet, loves pets, and looks up at you while wagging his tail away. Bronzi gets along with other dogs and would do best somewhere with a yard, where he can let loose and be his big goofy self. He is a super social and affectionate guy with the biggest smile and most beautiful eyes that gaze up at you lovingly. We promise it will make you smile. Beautiful lady DIDI is finally ready for her forever home! Didi is a 3 year old cane Corso mix and weighs 75 lbs. Prior to being surrendered to the city shelter, Didi came from a busy home, filled with children and dogs - where they were most likely a "backyard breeder" and after a litter or two, felt they no longer needed her. Yet another discarded mother at the overcrowded shelter Didi acted a little strange and had some weird medical reaction, and ended up on the euthanasia list. Luckily, a kind foster saw her and opened up their heart & home to Didi to see her life....but not only one life was saved that day. Didi's strange behavior and medical reaction were explained when 2 weeks later, her foster woke up to Didi...and 2 newborn puppies! Didi was a good mother to her babies, but obviously could not be up for adoption until they were of age. Now this sweet mama is ready for a forever home of her own!! Didi loves being outside, playing in the yard and is crate trained. She bonds very deeply to her people, often seeking affection, and is happy to simply be by their side.
