Thor is a one year old cane corso. He is a really large puppy. Thor is weary of men until he is settled in a new home, but then is their best friend and play partner.Thor needs an experienced owner who is willing and ready to give him the time and effort he deserves to truly shine and be his real self. He is well trained and gentle and is very well behaved. Thor does not do well in a crate and does have some separation anxiety; He will cry and bark and sometimes urinate if he is isolated which is why Thor is taking a very inexpensive medication while we work on behavior. He has been doing better and better but would still benefit from a home where someone is around. When he has company he is great and does not have these issues. When Thor is with another dog or person he is a joy. He does wonderful and plays with other dogs but cannot be with cats. To meet Thor and give this pup a chance, please call 952 855-6495.

Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. .
