He loves roughhousing with dogs, but we prefer that he goes to a home with bigger dogs just because he’s so big himself! He’s great with children of all ages! He loves spending time with people and even loves being dressed up!

Meet Bella, Bella is a bodacious, powerful girl who is true to her breed. She adores attention, kisses, and cuddles from her friends and family. The mailman? Not so much. Cane Corsos are an Italian mastiffs bred to be strong, stubborn, and intimidating. If we had to pick any dog to walk down a poorly-lit street at 2 in the morning, it would be Bella. That being said, Bella is large and in charge, AND she knows it. She is looking for a handler who is physically strong, and preferably one who has experience with large guard breeds. As a big, stubborn dog who is bred to be highly suspicious of strangers, Bella will need consistent training throughout her life to stay safe and happy out and about, and with any visitors who come to the home. She will not be successful as dog for a first-time dog owner.Bella is looking for a home with people 18 years and older. She hasn`t met any dogs here that she has made friends with, but she has lived with dogs in the past. Though she has not lived with cats before, we think she could be successful living with dog-savvy cats. If you are interested in meeting Bella, please bring all human and canine family members to meet her.

The following is a description of Hubert from his foster mom. Because, honestly who knows a pup better than the foster family! Hubert was found alone and scared on the interstate in Mississippi. When a nice lady stopped for him, he ran right to her. His foster family has had him vetted and neutered, and now they are treating his heartworms.  Hubert is about two years old. He is super cuddly, housebroken, crate-trained, and such a smart boy! He knows sit, stay, and down, and he will run to his crate and sit when you tell him to go to bed. He loves people and his toys, but he wants to chase the cat, and he is too high energy for the grumpy, elderly dogs in the home. So once Hubert has completed his heartworm treatment and is back to his active self, he hopes to have a forever home waiting for him. alk about STUNNING! 😍 Our big boy Mater is eager to find his forever home! He’s good with other dogs, but we prefer he goes to a home with bigger dogs that he can roughhouse with! Though he’s protective of his yard, perhaps due to being a cane corso mix, he is great with meeting new people! Food is the way to his heart, but he loves affection and quality time as well. Obedience training would be good for him— He can be quite stubborn, but his food motivation outweighs that! Mater is great on and off leash, and he’s eagerly awaiting a home who will show him love!
